It's true but dishonest. They're implying that it's from mass shootings or kids being murdered, but in reality, it's all suicides and under-18 gang members getting shot. Not innocent kids being gunned down.

And even then it's because they have that 1-19 year old range when they talk of kids, and the 15-19 part does all the heavy lifting. Hell, even 15 and 16 numbers cut it real close with vehicle deaths and it depends how you count things like gun suicides and things like "on a bicycle but died by car hit".

I think a lot of what was said after the shooting was because the police were assuming non-autistic motivations. If someone attacks a school they went to, and killed the kid of someone they knew - you're going to assume a deeply personal motivator. She might have chosen the school over the mall because the angles and the exterior were all right or obtuse angles and she preferred those.

-It's taken them far too long to release it. Should be open-and-shut if she does or doesn't name a person/community that worked her up to this point.
-What they're claiming it is filled with is a common argument used by smoothbrainers to not release manifestos altogether (Columbine worship). This gives the feds a convenient out from public demand on the grounds of "public welfare" ("she was inspired by mass shootings, releasing it could inspire mass shootings") and could possibly set a precedent of opacity when it comes to publishing manifestos. This is a plausible goal for them whether or not they move ahead with publishing their forgery for this specific event.

In my opinion, the flaw with this theory is that it's the TBI doing the investigation, the FBI is just assisting with analysis. Several state legislators have already stated they were leery of a coverup and have promised to use committee powers to obtain and release at least the journal. So it wouldn't be a federal conspiracy, it would be a state conspiracy and a trans leftist terrorist murdering Christians would be a boon to the GOP. The people in charge of the Tn. government have no interest in covering it up.

The writing was her mood journal. It's just going to be random blurbs she felt like writing down, maybe some sketches, some fanfic she was working on. She was in the middle of a major mental health episode, so it's probably pretty disjointed. They've also got her devices, external storage, etc. If there was incitement/conspiracy that's where the evidence will be. They'll have to get all of her online information (search history, account contents, messages, telephone meta data). If others were involved, they'll need to get a warrant for all their information and archive it. Releasing the journal could spook other people into destroying evidence. We've been promised the writing. I think we'll get the unedited writing because I don't think any worthwhile evidence is in it.

Just my thoughts.
