Usually, these are available to the public if it's an actual registered charity like a 501c3. An event that just so happens to donate a portion of sales to charity might have to file a tax form with the IRS, but if it's not an actual charity, then it's usually up to the person running the event to share the financial details with the public. The charities receiving the donation money should be able to provide them receipts with the exact amount donated and that's usually the proof of where the money went.

So I'm a few pages behind, but whatever.

One of the starkest differences between Ian and Franku was that Filthy Frank was a character. Filthy Frank, Pink Guy, Safari Man, Evil Frank, Chinchin, etc were all characters. It was obvious if you watched him. Part of the joke (and he would put a disclaimer on most of his videos) was that Frank was such an awful person that there was no way someone like him could exist. And if you did agree with him, it meant there was something really wrong with yourself.

When Joji stepped away from Frank, he was basically retiring a character. People were fine with it, no one really held Frank against him as a moral failing during his Joji career, as the point of the character was to be so offensive that it was over the top. He doesn't need to disown his FF fans because there isn't any reason to.
The character arc was done. He could see things like the adpocolypse on the horizon. Acting as Frank was impacting his health (As he had a few conditions that escape me at the moment, but one caused him to have seizures), and it strained his voice. He was successful enough from Pink Season that he could launch that into his proper Joji career. So he left. He wrapped up the story, wrote a book about Pink Guy/Filthy Frank, and started focusing on music. FF Fans were free to support him or not, and many were happy to see him achieve his dreams.


Ian...is not the same. Idubbbz was never presented as a character. It was always presented as Ian sitting down and explaining why he should be allowed to say Niggerfaggot without any repercussions. To try and save his 'career', he is desperately trying to retcon his older actions as secretly being a wild, wacky character the whole time. "No, when I said Niggerfaggot and encouraged the exact audience that came with that, I didn't *really* mean it guys. Idk why I got an edgy audience!". It never was. If you watch the 2015-2017 Australia vlogs and BTS, you see Ian acts almost the exact same off camera as he does on-camera, and I really fucking doubt Ian is smart enough to go full character actor for years at a time. Joji was in some of those vids too, and he is so soft-spoken in them its unreal, so no cop out of Ian using "Well, actually we were all in character Behind the Scenes too!"
I believe both Ian and Joji went on the h3h3 podcast too. Ian basically acted the way he always does; Joji was again soft spoken.

idubbbz basically wants to have his cake and eat it too and the way he has to do that is pretend he was a character the whole time, and a large part of that means he cannot, under any circumstances, maintain his old fanbase. He has to disown them or he'll be eaten alive by the same crowd he is trying to court.
