A redditor has posted photos of 14BC that he claims are from after Chris's release from jail. A light is on in Chris's room. If you zoom in, what may be the Namgge drawing is visible. This was known to be hanging in Chris's room in a black frame. I have made a comparison image.

I experimented a bit with filters, color changing and distortion using and couldn't come to a conclusion. It seems to match but not well enough for a confirmation. The lines of Chris-chan Sonichu, the floor and the whites from the wall seems a possible yes, but the major problem is the pink blur where Bowser stands. Even altering the hue, it doesn't fit, and the shade reminds more of Rosechu's pink than Bowser's skin. I'm very casual with GIMP and use it for fun, so don't expect a professional level of analysis or usage.

Her family seems to be managing everything.
We don’t know what’s been thrown out. There was a bunch of stuff waiting for the trashman, but we can’t tell what was in the boxes and bags.

If she's not there, it's possible he's allowed to be there. If she is, and he's allowed to be there, this is such an insanely bad idea it's hard to imagine anyone at all is managing anything. There's no situation with Barb and Chris in the same house where he doesn't just go right back to raping her.

One of the boxes was from his Transofmrers set, so very likely that his toys are being thrown out. After the incest fallout, his family probably wants to erase any memory of Chris. Barbara is in her 80s and demented, so with Chris being absent for sucha long time, she might forget him.

I do agree with you that if Chris was home we'd have most likely heard from him, but there is the question of whether or not Barb would continue to pay the internet bill. AFAIK Barb has never on her own accessed the internet, so if money was tight I'd guess that'd be one of the first things turned off.

Not necessarily. He may have a lot of money waiting for him. He may be in the habit of not using the internet. He may have to earn internet privileges wherever he is. Chris is a weird lunatic who can be unpredictable.

It’s the only one we have a photo of, but it’s not like weens literally camp out in their cars in front of the house taking pictures constantly (thank godbear). The horrible hoarders could have been using that box for a trash bin. Maybe the week prior, a bunch of MLP boxes were thrown out. Who knows?

I know I sound like a wet blanket, but that comes from much disappointment when getting excited over things only to watch them crash back to earth. The most entertaining outcome usually doesn’t happen. If you hear hoofbeats coming towards your house, it’s more likely a horse than a zebra.

Is Barb even mentally/physically capable of throwing out things much less that mountain of garbage? I assumed by this point she'd deteriorated so far that Im not sure how much she can do on her own.

I think the more rational theory is that she is just naturally old and frail. The woman is in her 80s and has never taken care of herself, so her being slightly messed up physically and mentally is not out of the realm of possibility. Even if she did, at 80+ most people do tend to slow down more and more. Its just nature.

Unless he talks about it (and even then we have to take it with a Morton mine of salt) we won't ever know fully what he went through in that cell. For all we know he may have actually gotten a psychiatrist to look at him and do something. Or they just let him stew in there until it was time to leave. I look forward to when we do find out though.

Depends on what era of the internet you mean. Obviously they knew nothing about post 2006 internet like Youtube, Myspace, etc but I think at the very least Barb used some form of it before she retired. (Barb worked until 1996 so she probably used a very VERY old PC for her job which was secretary work) Bob retired in I believe 1986 so there were PCs but the internet wasnt as much of a thing in his field.
My guess is that they had it for stuff like paying bills and things like that, while Chris used it for everything else.

I would expect old people like Bob and Barb would be really reluctant to use the Internet to pay bills, preferring checks instead. My mom is not quite as old as Barb, but she still pays her utilities by having her husband drive her to the office during business hours and then she puts a check and a paper bill stub in a pneumatic tube. They used to charge a few dollars to pay online but I don't think her town still requires that, but I'm not going to try to change the way she does things because it's too much of a pain in the ass for me to teach her new technology. It took me several years to get her to just use Firefox and to stop mailing checks for $20 to AOL every month.

Who knows, maybe the banks are in the process of taking her house but let her live the rest of her life there. I highly doubt Barb is financially able to pay off her mortgage nor does she care at this point. Her family are most likely taking care of her and throwing Chris shit out.

I don't know if banks would be that generous, but they're going to take back their property one way or the other.

It would be interesting if Chris tries to sue for lost items, if Failhard isn't totally lying.

Maybe they plan on just abandoning most of his crap, you see that a lot in urbexing houses.
