njsj id grew too fast with too many livers but did not promote or even market them properly to the point the branch and its livers collapsed on itself.

njsj en should not fall the same fate and slow down their debuts. blahaj chuuba from idol en already overtook the entire xsoleil in terms of subs.

Alright y'all, I've got something a little hilarious to share with you. It mostly related to the Pikamee situation, rather than vtubers in general, but I felt it was too hilarious not to post about here.

Well, as we all know, the Pikamee situation touched on a lot of nerves with a lot of people across the internet, and many made their displeasure known. But it has started to show up in the most unlikely of places. A scanlation group named "Tomoshibi Scan" is currently translating the manga Valhalla Penis Mansion/Valhalla Otintin Brothel. The manga itself is a hilariously trash erotic shotacon manga, the type of shit that people read because of how freaking insane it is as the manga intentionally pushes its premise as far as it can go (and still not be outright porn). The manga itself isn't worth talking about in this situation.

Tomoshibi Scan were basically taking this manga and intentionally having as much fun with the translation as possible, the full Ghost Stories comic dub treatment. I mean, the manga isn't taking his seriously, so why should they, right? However, the scanlation group did not take Pikamee's situation well. So, in chapter 21, they basically wrote in a joke castigating the troons (which they hilariously call "Transformers") for their attack on Pikamee as a thinly veiled criticism (here is the page with the joke in question, and massive warning, it is VERY NSFW; click at your own risk).

The chapter was uploaded to Mangadex, same as the rest of the chapters the group has translated up to this point, and SHIT FUCKING EXPLODED! The chapter itself, and only that chapter, was taken down by MangaDex's mods, who've justified it after the fact because of a rule, that I was not aware of previously, that forbids scanlators from adding their "personal politics" to their translations, a rule that was apparently added due to past SJW scanlators using their translations as their personal soapbox. This removal did not sit right with many people and caused the forum for the ensuing chapter to downright devolve into a multipage slug match, involving posters attacking each other over trannies, and the mods running damage control and even going into full Resetera mode, with one mod/administrator claiming that transgenderism "is not a political ideology or a mental illness" and threatening to ban anyone who says differently, and mods issuing bans and thread warnings left and right, while sane posters fight the trans-defenders. One of the tranny defenders even name drops freaking Kiwifarms, with the old bullshit about Kiwifarms keeping running lists of all the trannies its killed. It really has to be seen to be believed; I've never seen shit like this on MangaDex of all places. Here's the thread here, for those of you who want to see it for yourself.
