I think the bigger part of the reason she left was the fact she messed up with the "verb" comment and just couldn't handle anyone pointing it out and taking small jabs at it. Yeah, she was offended by the "balls" thing just to be offended but correcting Wu has always been her biggest trigger.
Wu made a pact with some demon, wu gets to have dumb levels of fame from being offended at fairly tame things, if she ends up being forgotten the demon gets her soul

More innocent than that, even. I don't play this game, but I gather from reading her Twitter stream "eats balls" was being used to describe absorbing or collecting orb-like objects in the game. You know, like Pacman eats balls.
Yeah, I don't play FF14, but I've played enough WoW to know the mechanic he was eluding to. Sometimes in a fight you'll have either moving or stationary orbs that will, depending on the fight, give you either a statistical advantage/immunity to some other mechanic/healing. Usually, that sort of fight is tuned around managing the orbs or touching them in a short period of time. Consuming the orbs is almost always referred to as "eating balls".

I've seen many people getting fed up with the the level of discussion in an MMO but it takes a special kind of spaz to rage quit a group over non-personal shit and then gloat about it on twitter, as though any member of a dungeon group isn't infinitely and instantly replaceable.

Echo chambers are the death of good writing.

Everything you write, should be read and reviewed by other people, who give you feedback, tell you where your writing sucks, where you need to expand on something or where you sperg too much about another thing. People like Wu, who live in their tiny little safe spaces and surround themselves by Yes-men and the like, will never get the feedback that will help them to improve their writing. They write something down and usually think that it is the best thing mankind has made since the invention of sliced bread.

That's one of the reasons why I think Kiwi Farms is so fucking awesome. We're able to critique each other's posts and keep each other from sperging too hard.

The fact that "Disagree" and "Dislike" are NEUTRAL ratings is probably what makes it better than any 'social website' alternative. Echo chambers usually can "downvote" whoever isn't in line with their voices, that's what makes people like Flynt/Wu look extra pathetic when interacting with people who aren't part of their circle.

Tho, every time I see a tweet from him with barely 5 likes/RTs, I can't avoid smirking.

Yeah, I was expecting that log to be way worse. They weren't even making a big deal out of saying "balls" or making any double entendres, just being whimsical by calling the magical spheres of lightning "balls." Wu is the poster child for that often used insult against SJWs, "wow, you must be great at parties."

I just love how Wu just immediately feels the need to notify everyone else that she's the healer. I bet she probably only picked white Mage because she thinks it's such a crucial character and everyone else would be licking her boots to get her to stay and not because she prefers assisting to attacking or anything else.

I think she picked it because healing is a "feminine" role, and there's just no one more feminine than Brianna Wu, born woman who has always been a feminine, female girly girl and definitely not John Flynt.

Does FF14 have group finder like wow where if someone leaves they are replaced almost immediately, therefore making her tantrum and group drop meaningless?
As Hellfire said, yes it does, unless you join as a premade party in which case it won't let you search for new members. The fight John was in however was Ramuh, which is just one big boss fight, no trash to clear up before you get there or anything. So once John leaves everyone else could leave with no 30 minute penalty, grab an FC or LS member and be straight back in again without being inconvenienced. Healers are not even hard to find.

Also it's old content now, if they already had a second healer with them they could just fight him as a group of level 60s without replacing and still beat him in about 1 minute.

He's probably one of those bitch-ass healers who decides who to heal based on who he thinks will give him asspats and not who needs it/is more important/crucial/etc for the situation.
