Nah. This is on the actress. Everybody else is horribly miscast, but at least they were clearly trying with the material. She didn't even try. She doesn't sound like a "girlboss", she sounds like she's literally reading lines off the script page. One of the most phoned in performances I've ever heard. Sometimes, it can be hard to tell if an actor or actress is bad, or if the direction was bad. This time, it seems to me that the actress just didn't try at all.

Her voice is a perfect fit for Ada in that it is deep and has a slight foreign air to it but she phoned it in big time unfortunately. Was Benita Ha unavailable or something?

No one ever made any racist comments towards her, all they said was that her acting is horrible. But anything to be a victim, right?

I watched a couple minutes of Synthetic Man's review. Really the biggest problem with the game is the actual gameplay mechanics feeling like shit. He put it perfectly. 2make gameplay doesn't work in an action game.

I don't know how many times the game just eats my inputs.

The cringiest thing with Ada's VA is that, yeah someone shouldn't receive harassment for doing a poor job but the people on twitter claiming she's 'great' and did a stellar job are just lying. Her voice sounded as if it was recorded in another room with zero direction as to the inflection she was supposed to provide for the character. Also, reading that statement just makes it clear she knows nothing about the character... Ada's not a good guy, I wouldn't describe her as 'kind' or 'just'. She's essentially Catwoman, lol wot
Mercs wise, Krauser is so goddamn fun to play, if they make it online like RE5s mercenary mode, that would be awesome.
Did anyone here see the reveal for the animated film? It'll include Chris, Claire, Jill, Leon and Rebecca. It will probably be dogshit but I imagine it'll be fun. Good to see Rebecca in something again, now bring back my boy, Billy.

I would love this mercenaries to have co-op but its a long, long shot imo. Maybe its just me but those maps seem way too small and cramped to have 2 players, if they remake 5 then yeah I can see it happening.

I’m surprised they didn’t put Barry in this movie for a S.T.A.R.S. reunion. Also Claire looks a lot prettier here than she does in RE2 remake. Jill still looks like a bulldyke.

If it's anything like the other animated movies, Chris and Leon will do almost everything whilst the ladies sit around/get captured and the part where they're all together will be a single scene.

Oh my fucking god, I just found the wayshrine key on my third playthrough. Was tearing my hair out, and refused to resort to a guide, until I realised the "wayshrine" after Del Lago was actually a treasure box for the fucking key. I'd assumed it was another locked chest.
 
The most fun puzzle in the game is probably the cube ones that's in the Castle.
