i follow rooster teeth drama stuff, so i'm familiar with what RWBY is as a concept, I've never looked into the plot or seen a single episode, but I know what it is in relation to roosterteeth.

I just find it funny how much Monty clearly ripped from fairy tail. Pyyra is a direct erza clone. Weiss is a lesser Mira clone. The early seasons had the tone of fairy tail

What's funny is that your wrong, but right at the same time.

They are clearly aping soul eater, DBZ, and other anime that is not fairy tail. But the level of writing and one note characters really is reminesent of Fairy Tail.

I think the most he gave was outlines that became more vague the later in the show’s life went. Even then, it’s been well established Monty was allowed to basically do whatever he wanted. And the rest of the team worked around him. RWBY was like his personal playground and toy box.
