Elon very publicly fired some guy who admitted to basically doing no fucking work -- when pressed, he spouted off buzzword soup including something about negotiating a contract with a UI design software company -- then the guy revealed oldTwitter had given him something insane in his contract like a 8 or 9 digit severance package if he's ever fired, and asked Elon rather smugly if he would be paying it out now, or in a few weeks?
Apparently Twitter had an internal "do not ever fire or lay off" list that they hid from Elon initially of these people who had negotiated absolutely insane contracts. I mean why would they give a shit, it was VC and Glowy money that was paying that shit not an actual Twitter-as-business.
So yeah it'd be hilarious as hell if Elon renamed the company to be able to fire these assholes.

I feel an unbearable sense of despair. There’s the thread it in Deep Thoughts about people being trained to think “Revenge= Resorting to TND because litter = bad” and my real thought is that people think bloodless Revolution can happen.
If the rot is deep enough and people get pissed and want actual change then good and bad people will die when average people start seeing the wheel break the butterfly.
