someone whose gender identity does not conform with their birth sex, and who then pursues medical transition to make their sex (more like sex characteristics, kiwi autists will call me out if i say sex) conform as closely as possible with their gender . my definition fits in with the medical consensus because the only trannies who are referred to as transsexuals by clinicians in studies are the one that transition lol
