That's great and all but it's much simpler than that. Rekieta's a polish jew. He has no real religion but has a general drift now he's old towards the basic ghetto collectivism as manifested in bullshit "holy days" for rat-men.

I have been waiting since then then to see what might happens in the LOCALS chat, but I believe a sufficient amount of time has passed to comment on this.

Here is the archive of the chat from last night that lasted through today's hearing in the Quest Lawlsuit. I figured it might be of more interest, so I went through the trouble of making it a PDF to be more accessible.

My favorite accidents in the dramas are when a truck is beeping its horn from a block away and the person stands staring at it and gets hit. I've seen this countless times and it never gets old.

Rekieta taunted a few times on his show to sue him. Would adding that mean anything/affect their case at all?
At the very least it'll show Rekieta meant what he said to be factual and was confident enough to go to court over it.

His main defense seems to be he's always joking on his show. But he's also a lawyer and should know better.

If he looses, he'll have to pay up, but if he wins does that mean anyone can call him names as long as its in jest?

I hope it goes to trial and they live stream it. I also hope every Laytube people cover it including Law and Crime who does long overly detailed dive into case. It would be so funny if Legal Bytes and Hoeg did a Lawtube special tearing apart Rekieta's defence, cashing in and make her comeback.

You could also make the exact opposite argument, that Rekieta was confident enough to go to court over it because he knew it wasn't true and wouldn't be taken seriously.

Rekieta both said it was opinion and that it was fact, and he has said over and over again he isn't joking. More recently he started with the "people think" ie he is trying to do the "some people think" / it's just opinion defense.

I don't know, if someone says something and then challenge the target to take him to court I'd assume what he said was so true it can be proven in court.
On the other hand if it wasn't true and wasn't meant to be taken seriously, why go to court? A retration and apology would be enough?

Listening to the audio of the hearing, I don't hear anything from Schneider that makes me think he's a fucking loon. And he was way more specific than Randazza. Unless Randazza is that big a hotshot he can literally walk into court, wink, and get the outcome he wants, Schneider did a great job I think.
People saying no questions means it slightly favors Rekieta are offbase imo. Schneider really brought his A game and went through arguments with citations. I know when we were in court (contract shit) the guys who did that - won. They were on the ball, they were switched on. Randazza seemed more out of it to me. Not negligent or Ty Beard tier but just not nailing it point by point.
And I thought Schneider made the right point - being a PDFile is not just a slur, it's a fucking crime and saying it is per se defamation.

Anyone looking for Still-Life insanity, apparently Locals has started intervening and just deleting anything he or anyone else posts that they think is against their rules, assuming they have rules.
Rekieta should definitely attack Locals over that. They're not his dad!

I doubt they will stream it. There is very little interest.

Interestingly enough, Nick tossed the idea of streaming it himself out there. I think it will be funny if he had to backpedal on that. He will probably have to come up with some excuses to not do it once it gets serious.

Remember, this was going to make him SO much money and he was going to LAUGH! Who is laughing now?
