If there’s any truth to it I’d bet a dollar that it was because things came to a head after her moms death. Kim’s dad is the only working adult in the house iirc, and he most certainly comes home every day to a messy ass home. Kim and Dalton probably fight a lot (see daltons recent post about how his family hates Kim because she often calls the cops on him) and he just lost his wife who was probably responsible for whatever cooking, cleaning and laundry that got done in that trailer. For whatever her faults were, her mom had custody of aiden and did more for him than kim does.

Ugh for little mans sake I hope that she’s just lying and grifting for a hotel, it’s too heartbreaking to think about aiden witnessing a huge blowout fight where his grandfather kicks him out of his home and away from all his toys n shit. I feel for the old man, it’s sad he can’t count on Kim or Dalton to step up and come together.
