They're having trouble with the controls. Is this a problem with everyone who's played YS?

When I played one of the earlier builds, which was over a year ago?, I had bad control issues. I figure I should bring this up.

Even on a decent laptop Yandere Sim ran like shit when I played it. Irs really nice to see the Dev do jackshit about this in over a year. I wish I could've gotten a live stream of it because wow, I didn't want to risk crashing my laptop though.

He made a blog post and he compared Iji(along with some other games) to his clusterfuck of a game, ugh.

Edit: Holy fuck, he's not even taking himself seriously. He made a pie chart ridiculing himself:

>"45% of the work is done"

Nigga, the game is supposed to have 10 rivals and play for 10 weeks, not to mention a random generated mode and a past mode with totally different assets, students etc, not to mention it's been years and the game is still a buggy mess that runs like shit. It's by definition, not even 1/10 of what its supposed to be. Remember that time Alex said his awful fighting game had "80% done"?

Is it truly slow? Or, is it actually moving at a completely normal pace?
Let’s look at other one-man indie game projects:
  • Iji by Daniel Remar – 4 years
  • Axiom Verge by Thomas Happ – 4 years
  • Cave Story by Daisuke Amaya – 5 years
  • Stardew Valley by Eric Barone – 4 years
  • Retro City Rampage by Brian Provinciano – 5 years
Of course not a surprise, since we've seen him literally asking for these on chat, but still :story:
Why'd you have to relink that? This part gets me every single time

Nov 20 05:26:32 <wippler-wrokn> you think what you made now is complicated?
Nov 20 05:26:45 <EvaXephon> Could an amateur coder make it?
Nov 20 05:27:00 <wippler-wrokn> you're an amateur coder, judging by the code, so yes
Nov 20 05:27:09 <wippler-wrokn> you didn't write the renderer, the input reading system, the engine itself
Nov 20 05:27:15 <wippler-wrokn> Unity did that

"Speaking to manufacturers about potential merchandise, speaking to web developers about the website."
I still don't understand why does a game, that's far from being complete, buggy, has stolen assets and has more easter eggs than actual content need merchandise and an official website?
Gotta sell those YanSim panties.

So he threatened to dox stopyandere-dev?
Edit: Apparently it was someone else. What was their tumblr handle? fucknoyanderedev? yandere-devreceipts

It was the first mod of stop-yanderedev (who went by Cuck-Chan.) Cuck - Chan had children in her house, so she handed the blog over to the current mods so she could keep them safe.

Not sure how true it is, but he said somewhere that he gave his stream key to close friends to stream on his channel. Not talking might mean it's not him playing, maybe he's watching the gameplay on a second monitor for entertainment while working.

Except this is Eva. It's more likely that he's not talking because he doesn't want others to know it's him, and so they conclude it's someone else using the stream.

It's actually a pretty clever ruse if it's the case. If he's talking, it's him. If not he can rely on his fans / people who saw his post to explain that it's someone else using his stream. He doesn't even have to explain it that way- the words are put in other people's mouths.

Eva just said this on his stream, which pretty much confirms these suspicions.

45%? he is not even at pre-alpha yet. Its going to be delayed or he will move on to another project. On his hitbox stream he mention he wish he had other side projects away from yandere simulator. Looks like Lunar Scythe might make a comeback.

Eva is a stubborn cunt.

When Anon told him over and over his character design sucked, he still insisted on using it. When people kept on telling him the idea sucked, he still wanted to go through with it. No surprise that he still wants to make Lunar Scythe.

EvaXephon's dream, anyway the artist who drew this is a lot better than the person who did the art for the Yandere Simulator website.

Does this game have a development roadmap?

Here is the current plan:

January 1st, 2017: Have all core game mechanics implemented. Have 1 rival fully implemented.

January 2017 - April 2017: Refine the gameplay as much as possible, fix all critical bugs. Evolve from "debug sandbox" to "free demo". The demo should represent the "feel" of the final game.

April 2nd, 2017: Launch Kickstarter, ask for enough money to hire professionals to develop high-quality assets for Yandere Simulator.

April 2017 - April 2018: Implement all rival girls. (Hopefully, each girl will only take about 1 month to implement.)

April 2018 - January 2019: Implement all other gameplay modes (1980s Mode, Endless Mode, Custom Mode).

January 2019 - April 2019: Refine the gameplay as much as possible, fix all critical bugs.

April 2019: Launch the game.

Nigga gonna take another year to even get the game in a demo state what the christ

And, as a treat, more DANG DIRTY EMAILS sperging:
