Oh wow, he just blamed fat Khet for not going out for their anniversary, because it takes her half a day to put on make-up and, well, "obviously", that's too much work just for eating out.

(1) It's your marriage anniversary you autists!
(2) Does Khet have PTSD from the car picture? How does it take her half a day to make herself "good enough" presentable. She's not going out to a gala! It's just a dinner date with her husband, who's already in the bag. Is the racoon look the best she can do after hours of work?
(3) Can DSP make it through one whole day without making his wife look like a moron and basically ridiculing her (broke the dishwasher and the cabinets, can't cook, too stupid to wear slippers in house, food poison cake, needs half a day to get ready to leave the house)?

Such a pointless rant because we know this is a no win scenario no matter who presents. Phil would need to bitch about it no matter what.
1. A celebrity - Phil complains that they're expensive, out of touch, and have no actual interest in the game
2. A dev - They're too book-smart and therefore out of touch, they're too socially awkward, they should be spending the time developing the game
3. A FGC member - They're a shill, the view of the FGC is now tainted and biased by being too close to Capcom, nobody knows who they are outside of the FGC
4. A gaming journo - Same as the FGC complaints
5. Nobody - Phil complains that they're not putting enough prestige on the game and lack faith in it so they're not bothering to market it, he'll complain the launch will fail because they didn't try to attract a playerbase

There's exactly two people that could go up there and Phil would say it's a good thing.
1. Someone whose dick he thinks he can suck for clout - SBM or Geoff Keighley, specifically
2. Phil

If you can never find anything to appreciate in a critique, you're value as a critic is nil.

From what I understood he said he doesn't bother going out as often either because preparing to go out is just too much work, thus he only does it once a month now. He's going full hermit mode, he slashed going outside 50 times a year to just 12 times a year.

I don't think Lil Wayne has even been relevant for some time now... Still, he is a name, so I guess they're smart for using him for the reasons you mentioned.

Phil just claimed the successful Home Front: The Revolution video on KOGaming got him $3-4k in 2 months alone.

Just to put this in context, he immediately went on a Seattle Staycation with Leanna when he got that money and dropped any momentum on the channel. And he was begging/unable to pay his bills, even with a $4k boost out of nowhere from one video.

The minute he starts giving us actual numbers on stuff, the worse it looks. A smart man would stick to his hand graphs.

Not sure if this is still the case, but x264 always used to squeeze out a bit more bang for your buck (quality for bitrate) at high settings. I have no clue at what x264 preset he encoded his streams, but since his CPU is old and crap (requiring a low preset for real time, 60 fps), maybe just switching to nvenc is an improvement in his case.

I'm waiting to see if DSP will learn about the 40 series graphic cards being able to do av1 encoding, and! how good the boomer rant will be.

Lets be honest, it's clearly just an excuse from Kat so that she can sit and play Skyrim and eat DoorDash. If they go out for a meal she would have to interact with Phil for a period of time greater than 0.

Does Phil stream at 1080p? (I'm not going to his channel). Then anything above 6k is a waste, 4k is good enough since I doubt he's bothering to stream above 30fps. And he should go as low as possible so his face is blurry anyway.

Nope never and for good reason, if you want to see what Dave looks like in HD check out his youtube shorts where they're always in the 1080.
