Sounds like graf was waiting for the first excuse he could to defed kiwifarms.cc and ask Josh to leave - and it is a reason where he can go "See? Crunklord has to sleep like a normal human - they're clearly all pedos, not me!" Nobody with any sense believes that but I'm sure that was his thought process.
It's actually dumber than that. He claims that there is CSAM federating through .cc because we have all-but-defederated a specific instance that graf ardently refused to defederate himself (because it was a lolicon instance) until the CSAM was so egregiously unmoderated that he had no recourse but to defederate it. I had forced Crunk to block it months earlier (before #DKF) because of the lolicon by itself, which means that the only way to access a status from that node is to directly follow an account from our instance. It does not otherwise propagate through .cc, and in the one (1) day that .cc has been back up, we have not seen any content that would warrant defederating it, though I'd have no problems defederating it immediately if I did see anything.
graf actually specifies in the replies to his announcement that if you search a specific term on .CC, you will see CSAM that we are failing to moderate, but in attempting this search I did not see any CSAM. There is lolicon - which, to be clear, is hosted on a 3rd party server. If graf is now conflating drawn pornography with CSAM (something he's argued about with me many times), then he should revise his rules which explicitly allow lolicon when it somehow conforms to his tortuous definition of ethical drawn pornography featuring child characters.
And to really show how fucking stupid it is for him to lie about this, one of his founding admins of Poast was an open pedophile who parted ways only after Kiwi Farms users called him out on being an open pedophile. This is probably why graf still hates the KF and me to this day, and was part of why we were defederated. The aforementioned open pedophile actually runs his own lolicon instance that graf has not defederated or filtered in any way.
TL;DR is that graf is extremely disingenuous and is willing to lie about absolutely anything to save face. In this instance, he is assmangled over crunklord420 bullying him to tears multiple times over years now, simply by pointing out logical fallacies in his moderation policies.
Edit: I have discovered through Poast's about section that the .CC and Poast have identical filtering rules when it comes to the pedophile instance he is complaining about, so if our filtering is inadequate, so is his. If you know the instance, look for what rules it has on
his list and
ours.
I don't really know what needs to be said other than graf is refusing to address the fact he's protecting at user who has already been involved in maliciously dumping actual for real child pornography and is openly threatening to continue doing it. This isn't third party information or rumors, this is a direct accusation from me. That's the issue. Fuck the lolicon discussion, this is an entirely different level of criminality. I openly invited graf to defederate KFcc, I asked him to do it for the simple reason I didn't want to go on the record as having defederated poa.st myself.
For the last X months I've been totally defederated from poa.st on my personal backup accounts, in retrospect this was actually nice and comfy. Immediately upon returning to KFcc I'm flooded with the degenerate faggotry and pedophilia implicit to the podcast race. Nothing of value was lost.
As for pawoo, this is the first time I've heard about this issue. I haven't seen it and I question if it's even still an ongoing thing or if pawoo moderation finally stepped in. Frankly I don't even care to address this because it's just lazy bullshit misdirection. If I hear this pawoo thing is _actually_ ongoing I will fully defederate them instead of just the quarantine status. Plus from public information it appears we already have the same federation policy towards pawoo as poa.st does, so I have no idea what graf is talking about.
