Well, watching that shortly after a very light meal but before my run will either prove to be my downfall today OR the thought of Saccharine Sweety’s voice catching up to me if I get lazy should keep me honest.
She is more all over the place than usual, even for her, this weekend. From raging in frustration at being busted in lies again to trying to convince the audience “they” are so in luuuurve.
The Aroma Apologetics in the form of a scripted snarl at Just Breezing is classic Chantal. She is well versed at using her black/white thinking verbally, thinking that gets her out of lies. For example where we’re using “dollar store” to represent any low end store selling cheap tat or discounted items, she uses it literally to dump on JB.
I was waiting for her to explain the glaring problems; the fact that this spray was supposedly not available for purchase when clearly it is. BUT not online internationally? Yup, she loves her some semantics games.
Did Salah lie to her or she lie to viewers? All that’s clear is that lies are involved… as usual.
Don’t know about anyone else but as weather gets nicer and more people walk in that lovely period between supper and dark fall, couples in love are easy to spot. They’re focusing on each other, almost oblivious to those around them and it’s… sweet.
Chantal is determined to make we morons understand it’s LOVE. Their love is perfect, their life is perfect, everything is perfect and if it isn’t it soon will be and if that doesn’t happen, it’s our fault.
To me, love involves heavy doses of concern for the loved one. Within reason, it makes you happy to make them happy. Key phrase there - within reason and Chantal continually misses that and we can see her over and over, trying to reinvent herself to hopefully snag a man.
But Chantal being Chantal, she can only go so far with that before the narc bursts through constraints. It’s even funnier when the real her comes out organically, no concealment possible.
Her soporific video about their Perfect Love is almost entirely about her; how she feels, etc. Tons of “I” and “me” stuff compared to “us” or “we”. In the past she’s shown no qualms deciding how others feel about her, (Nader), so why not Salah?
The end of Ramadan, with a theoretically calmer, more at peace Chantal is almost upon us. Yup, lots more emphasis on their Perfect Love coming our way.
