Pat's plan: call in SWAT on empty half of hovel, SWAT breaches the doors and walls when no one answers, damages his hovel, he gets to scold them and sue them for damages with lots of pity attention posts of the "damage" caused and risk.

Reality: cops knock on door, get no answer. Knock on other half of the hovel (maybe even saw a light/activity), Pat shits his pants panicking on whether he answers, and if he doesn't answer if it will make him suspicious, etc. etc. Gets cuffed and is furious and hyperfixated on the fact that it was the "wrong address", despite it being to the other half of the hovel he and his wife own. I'm sure he asked the cops "what address" the swat was called for, because why else would the cops say it? Why would he care, when the call already said that they were him and that he killed his wife?

It's like if someone SWATted your house and said that you killed your wife and you were waiting for them in your attic, and they found you in your detached garage and put you in cuffs. Would you be angry and hyperfixated on the fact "it's the garage, not the attic! You're retards!". It makes no sense, his reaction wasn't genuine in the slightest. Most wouldn't react theatrically like that, most people get meek as fuck in scary situations, including Patrick. Listen to the Josiah tapes if you want confirmation.

The main reason I am highly skeptical that Pat is SWATTing himself is because I want it to be true. I want the MPD, to investigate these claims and I want pat to serve some time because after years of threatening everone who twits at him with prison it woukd be the funniest outcome by far. The funniest outcome would of course for Fat to be hauled up in front of a judge for swatting himself. But unless they actually catch this TorSwats guy and his contact list, that's unlikely. I don't know if "some criminal on a Telegram channel told a guy from the Opie and Anthony forum that Pat paid him to swat himself" constitutes admissible evidence, but I doubt it.

Second-funniest outcome is that Dan, Boomia or another pest whose identity is known is accused by Pat on Twitter of swatting him and sues him for defamation. IANAL, but I suspect stuff like the Telegram would be much more likely to be admissible in such a case. Not to mention that Pat is such a prize idiot that he'd say or do something in court that incriminates him.

If Quasi were to collect his money, and then use it to sue Pat for defamation, I think it would be time to tear up the life's work of Stephen Hawking, because my sides would exceed the speed of light as they shot out towards Betelgeuse.

Combine this with the fact that Patrick is a big fat coward who would never put himself in harm's way, and I feel confident he is not swatting himself. Also, in his previous false flags he always pretended to be a pest and never let the act down, even after he released video that clearly shows him vandalizing his own property. So revealing his identity to the guy that he is paying to commit felonies for him puts the nail in the coffin for that theory, IMO. The simplest answer is the most likely one: The lolcow swatter (soon may he die) pretended to be Patrick to Torswats in order to stir more shit up.
