I'd argue it started before. Post the ricegum video in 2017 was when the decline began. He basically stopped making content that takes effort. It was basically all just opening fan mail or appearing on Anisa's streams as a guest appearance. If he just continued making content I think a lot of people would actually not care that make about the cuck thing. But there was no content, so Ian became the content.
I don't feel bad for Mr Anisa Jomha. When I want a win, I do something I'm good at, or practice something I want to be good at. I do remember him mentioning boxing back then. I think he even challenged Jinx to a boxing match, but I always thought it was ironic, as back then YouTuber boxing was seen as some really gay shit only people like Jake Paul and Asian Jake Paul (Ricegum) were doing. I mean, didn't Ricegum challenge him to a boxing match and iDubbbz basically laughed about it? I haven't caught up with the thread yet so maybe you've been answered already but he fought one Jarvis Johnson. He's one of those commentary/react channels like Cody Ko, Drew Gooden, Danny Gonzales etc. those channels are kind of pozzed but I found them enjoyable, though even by those standards I found Jarvis to be the most preachiest and pozzed of them all. I wanted Arin to lose but I agree with you, having Arin winning at anything, let alone beating someone up, when he can't even beat children's games all while carrying himself the way he does is far funnier.
This is only the Ian vs Alex fight. Someone else posted a link to Reddit to a Google Drive with the full fight apparently but they for some reason put a fucking limit on how many people can see it at once so no dice in getting the fight anywhere so far (maybe someone posted links some pages later idk).
