Hoskins hated the filming called it the worse experience. He called the directors incompetent. It broke no grounds, but morale. And if Leguizamo wants to complain more about racism just remind him he did yellowface once upon a time.
Pardon my double quote but a minor edit on my original post messed up the quotes.

People rarely call out minority actors for playing other colours. That negress Halle Berry did brown face to play a Pajeet in Cloud Atlas and the media only chimped out over the yellowface done for the Oriental characters. Hollyweird's hypocrisy regarding yellowface, blackface and brownface never ceases to disappoint.
Turns out kids want entertaining movies instead of woke dreck infested with nothing but annoying people in various shades of brown.
I'll never forget all the hype for Raya and the Last Dragon because the characters were brown and 'accurately' representing Southeast Asian culture, yet it flopped worldwide. It didn't even find success among the Ching Chongs. People wrote lengthy essays not understanding that America's love of representation means jackshit to the rest of the world.

Also remind him that he was put in a fatsuit for the role of Clown in Spawn when they should have gotten an actual short, fat guy (if we're going by the "criticisms" of The Whale).
He was actually good in this role. He was so dedicated that he actually ate a maggot infested pizza & vomited 3 seconds after director said cut.

Didn’t really help that the moral of the story apparently was “blindly trust everyone, especially if they’ve already lied and betrayed you like two or three times already.”

Saw it tonight and got pizza afterwards.

Decent enough movie, genuinely not sure what else you can do with out taking it too far away from what feels like Mario.

That one scene with Luigi being chased by the skele-koopas into the castle with the Shy-Guy jump scare was genuinely great though, I would be very pleased if they made a Luigi's Mansion movie following that energy. Charlie Day was surprisingly the highlight for me. I thought getting Charles to play Mario's Dad was really sweet and thoughtful as well.

I am afraid of how many seeds they planted for an "NCU" in the film over all though.

I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Chris Pratt has been dropping hints that it's coming.

Bonus video of Pratt and Day getting interviewed by a tranny that explains to them what Bowsette is before Pratt talks more about NCU possibilities:

I'm sure there's going to be one, I can see it. Samus gets a mission to investigate disappearances of planets in the galaxy, finds out it's Gigyas who just wrecked the Pikmin planet that Olimar barely escapes from. As Gigyas is heading to Earth, Rosalina contacts Star Fox and Captain Falcon to go round up the Zelda folk and Kirby to bring them to Earth while the Pokemon and Pit find warp pipes to meet up with Mario's crew....and they all just beat the shit out of each other because the movie is called "Smash Bros".

Holy shit, The Gamer is doing interviews now? I know this was done to appeal to the fanbase, but you'd think the Mario movie wouldn't really need all that press. Didn't the troons hate Chris Pratt for going to that one church? Here's what that Stacey Henley tranny said about the Bowsette interview:

It was alright. Bowser was easily the highlight and doesn't get nearly enough screen time.

I'm seeing a pattern with my kids where they are not into anything Pixar made over the last few years, but were VERY into the Sonic movies, the new Space Jam, the Paw Patrol movie and they really liked this one too. Kids want a silly fucking cartoon that doesn't preach to them. Imagine that. Those new Pixar and Disney movies are made for adults, man.

And by adults, I mean jaded manchildren consoomers, some who are either trannies or leftists.
Anybody see this movie in 3d? Is it cool?
I only watched it flat because watching things in 3D has given me a massive headache and I won't want to risk that.

I hated this less than the Sanic movie. Plus it's certainly better than the 93 movie. Fite me IRL.

This deserves a 6/10 or maybe 6.5/10 because it's an inoffensive not too special kids movie with fanservice. Completely harmless but kind of forgettable. Seth Rogan was miscast too.

Mario movie is what 4-10 year old self in mid-late 90s wanted but never received. Of course as an adult in his early 30's with a fully developed brain, I wouldn't enjoy it as much as if I was a kid still, but damn if I had kids, I'd take them to see it. I'm sure plenty of children who have been growing up with the Switch in the past 6 years were delighted watching this. Nintendo really hit absolute gold by releasing this movie at the tail end (or near) of their most successful console ever.

And the teens that watched Youtube Poops featuring Hotel Mario and clips Super Mario World cartoon withl Mama Luigi?
