I don't get how Chris's hair looks that bad. Maybe it's genetics? I'm not sure because it looks flat and greasy like the Jomhas'. I've got some experience with caring for longer hair (I've been growing mine out to donate it) and it's not difficult to take decent enough care for hair. I've got longer hair than him and my hair has never looked that bad.

Really makes you think when you see all these FtMs and they're usually greasy and unwashed looking, I forgot where the quotes from, but imagine the smell. I know it's not a male thing either because I make sure I bathe at least once a day and make sure I don't look disheveled. Also thin flat hair is a pain in the ass to maintain even for young women because you need to wash it every second day and fan it (look at justpearlythings lmfao), if you use conditioner or oils you just look greasy even if you think you are doing "self-care".
For the Johmas- they were into box larping for 2 years and probably got too lazy to wash every time or it's layers of product and grease. Yikes.

Tl;dr if you're white and have straight hair just wash it every 2-3 days with shampoo, no extras needed

That's about what my routine is. I've got straight hair and blond so I do my best to make sure it's not greasy looking. I didn't want to PL but I may as well since it's relevant; I've got diagnosed depression so I know exactly how it is to not want to wake up and put effort into anything at all, that never stopped me from doing the bare minimum of self care though.

I would guess it's more the perspective that comes with age. Median 4chan user's age is probably closer to 30 these days. The sexualization of minors is more obviously wrong when you're no longer a minor.
