You don't play it nice because it turns out the guy looks out of shape, or because it's an exhibition match.
You absolutely go into an exhibition match expecting to not attempt to destroy your opponent and vise versa. When Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr happened it was extremely apparent that Tyson was much better prepared for the fight, but he didn't attempt to kill the man because it was a fucking exhibition. I don't think the creator clash is billed as exhibition fights though, so it's a moot point.
It's most weird that dad claims this is a friendly event but then he goes in and fights as hard as he fucking can. If I was one of the people he had gone against I would definitely be pissed, there's nothing friendly about the way he fights lol.

Another year of wearing the chastity cage for iCuckkks. Sad.

It's actually hotly contested among athletes whether or not chastity confers wizard powers to athletic events; some people swear that intercourse throws them off their game completely, others try to bang as close to the event as possible for a natural hormone boost/ego/motivation. I think it really depends on the person and their individual drives, you need to try it both ways to really feel which way you work best.

But for Idubbbz? If that sad fight was his pent up messy nut, he'd be better off blasting into a fleshlight backstage on Clash 3 if this is what saving his pathetic seed does. He didn't gain wizard power, he spurt out some bumbling Mickey Mouse apprentice power.

You're probably right, not an exhibition, but pretty much the same spirit I guess.

Anyway, I think that many people underestimate how hard it is for amateurs to have a "friendly" yet entertaining match where someone needs to win.

Obviously, each one wants to win. And the only way to make this happen is to play to your strength or prey on your opponent's weaknesses.

Putting on a friendly show only works where both are versatile enough to still put up something good to look at without exposing themselves too much. It's an art of some kind. And you need to both have a perfect understanding of what playing it nice looks like to the other for it to work for more than a minute.

In an amateur fight, if you know you gas out too fast, or if you know you can't handle punches, you have no choice. You can't just compromise, because you know you'll get smoked for it in the end.

At the end of the day, it's still a competition. He did not win because he was too aggressive, he won because his opponent was not prepared well enough to this type of aggression and basically had no plan.

I don't care about the dude tbh. But I see his point. A friendly competition is still a competition, even if it means your opponent might get hurt.

At the end of the day, it is a fight. If it was a tennis match, you would not be complaining that he was serving too fast, if he was dog shit in exchanges and that was his best way to win the match.

They both knew what they signed up for.

Think a good example of exhibition etiquette is watching any of Floyd's now numerous exhibition matches. He goes in fully with the idea of having fun, clowning his opponent (who are always overmatched), and having this "agree to fuck around at medium" fight. However, as is often the case, whoever he's fighting tends to get in their head that they can go at this old man hard, and when they do, he drops the clown around smacks them around hard.

You can watch almost any of his exhibition fights and if there comes a point where the guy he's fighting looks like they might actually hurt him, he fucks them up and tries to get them out of there.
It's right around the 9 minute mark where Floyd almost gets chinned by a hard punch, and you can see the switch flip to "time to get this idiot out of there", and then he does.

but just looking at the Harley-Sam documentary really shows it off
What documentary are you refering to?
LMAO WHAT

I saw people mentioning Tonsil Stones as an excuse for Ian losing, I thought they were memeing.
According to Anisa's own words, it takes people a maximum 10 years to wake up from their shitty relationship. 2.5 more years until idubbbz wakes up.
