Not comparable. Most traditional societies have manhood rituals but not womanhood ones because women already "prove" themselves in their biological sex by having and raising children. There's no need to establish a painful bloody endurance ritual when nature already provided one for you.

We used to have traditions for when children became men and women. Women used to be "introduced" to society properly and were then allowed to act and dress like young women rather than girls.

What you're describing is by no means universal and AFAIK was limited to a small part of American society.

In fact for most of Western history kids just dressed like small versions of adults once they were out of baby clothes. Go look at any old depiction of a child in a portrait or a painting and they're just dressed like little adults. You can still see it in groups like the Amish in fact.

When you have 12 year old girls already dressing like whores and allowed to party until 1am, society has a problem. When grown men never had a moment when society acknowledged them as becoming men, you have a problem too.
