I think by the 2004 Christmas video he had an idea that his son was doomed to a miserable life. However what Bob didn't realize was he was looking at only the tip of an iceberg of depravity.

It's interesting how so much would change within 7 or 8 years, and Chris behavior would drastically go downhill because he kept on feeding the trolls and never learning from his fuck ups. Even if Chris had transitioned/tomgirled earlier, what would Bob do? Have Chris be involuntarily taken? I doubt it, seeing that Bob may still have the same inclinations of how mental hospitals worked during his time (and he still felt love for Chris). It's not entirely untrue. The first of the "gal-pals" was literally paid by Bob to tard wrangle him and make sure he got to the bus, and he'd give Chris the money to give her. It wasn't until later he realized she wasn't really his friend.

And the others were definitely "encouraged" by his dad and the principal to be nice to the tard:

The center of Chris's universe (and thus his identity) has always been Virginia and that isn't gonna change.

I don't even think Chris could point to where San Francisco is on a map.

Chris drove to Ohio in 2009 and Pennsylvania in 2020, about 800 and 500 miles round trips respectively. Even though the trip to Ohio ran into some snags (not bringing enough money, locking himself out of his car) Chris seemed to view it as a positive experience. So I think he could eventually make his way to other parts of the country.

Driving all the way to San Francisco would be quite the undertaking for Chris, but he might enjoy the sights along the way. The smart thing to do would be to fly, but it might be difficult for Chris to board a plane with all the crap he carries and I wouldn't want to have to sit next to him. Chris had been planning on driving to Seattle for Everfree NW and that was estimated to take 41 hours. Later the plan was amended to driving to Washington DC then flying to Seattle, but that fell apart for reasons we're all too familiar with.

I wonder if Chris would get Washington state and Washington DC confused.

This is the first I've seen evidence wise that his high school gal pals were not his real friends (other than those revelations back about 10 years ago which I'd have to reread) but damn, maybe having a big sister in his life teach him how to act appropriately around other girls and not just babysit him would have done wonders for him.

I can even picture it. If Bob's two siblings had been involved in Chris's life a little bit, maybe even the older sister taking him out to the playground of the mall or something, maybe we would have gotten a better version of Chris.

They're not responsible for Chris's development or well-being, but a little more involvement from his half siblings (even the occasional interaction with Cole) could have been remarkable.

If only people were that selfless. Again they're not to blame for anything and they have their own lives, but this is what tells you the kind of people Bob and Barb are.

I drove once from a nearby state to Seattle and it took weeks, with no trucker experience on my part, it honestly sucks. You pull over just because you need a mental break every once in awhile and I highly doubt the blubber golem would have been able to drive 70-80 mph without getting overwhelmed after a bit and turned around because 'The trolls were being mean on the road' or some BS about cars not clearing the way for his divine faggoty ass. Chris should have been allowed to drive, he'd have made it to Ohio or a hundred miles west off 70w and sighed, pulled over and whine for money because he blew his gas money on trinkets from a gas station because 'The merge' or something. Then turn around, drive home, jack off and whine how it was all pre-ordained and post a hundred pics of corn and cattle in the fields. This nonsense about him getting stranded in the rockies is giving him too much credit, he would have given up after a day or two and gone home.

I think it's completely obvious that unfettered access to the internet has been excessively harmful for Chris. The reason he never walked away after being trolled senseless isn't just because of his weapons-grade autism, it's imo also because it's still some kind of human connection.

Chris was never socialised. That's pretty much a basic human urge - and his best bet would've been a safe environment to sperg out with his tard kin.

That being said, everything bad in Chris' life has been worsened tenfolk because his parents never said no to him, and never gave him any consequences.

There is sort of an awkward joy and blissful ignorance about the whole affair. It was the late 90s, the biggest thing any kid was worried about was pokémon the first movie or trading Holos.

Chris can be a little forgiven for being a weird nerd back then; most of it is of course what would happen after High School.

Bob did a few things right with Chris, but the longevity of his care should have been considered and Chris should have been placed in a group home with a part-time job.

I think that's another goofy thing too. They only ever hanged out with Chris, at lunch, and apparently only on "even days". Odd days, Chris had to eat alone. So in all, his "best high school friends", Chris only saw maybe half the time during the week, and apparently only at lunch.

I think you're correct there's a lot of misinformation about the gal pals, like they were some sort of body guard that would follow Chris through the halls and jump in front of him to protect him from people messing with Chris.

So really, it's even sadder. Chris maybe spent less than two hours a week with these girls, yet they played such a huge roll in his maldevelopment.

Can anyone tell me how he finally got caught? I'm retarded and can't figure out how to navigate through all these pages.

He was incarcerated for almost two years. He's mentally ill and what's happening to him now is the best possible outcome for him.

Chris simped for the cutest girls in his vicinity his entire life, I don't think it was much more than that. The "Bob paid the gal pals to be friends with Chris" rumor took off and became gospel for whatever reason. The graduation party never should have happened with them, but I think they meant well.

Anna and Megan to a lesser degree did a lot more damage as vampires.
