SsethTzeentach - Hey hey people

Leave it to Sseth to find a way to shoehorn the 1983 Byford Dolphin incident into a video. I've seen the autopsy report and it's absolutely gruesome. Getting caught in an extreme environmental depressurization is a brutal way to go.
Whoever edited the video made a mistake and put the date at March 1973, probably just looked on Wikipedia quick and didn't realize the ship was involved in multiple accidents.

And just when we were thinking he couldn't be more of a useless faggot, the editor can't get the basics of his joke right.

Im not a huge fan of the editor but I'll give credit where credit is due:

I was losing my mind laughing over the nuclear spergging because tbh I noticed that too. Any video with sub atomic mass jokes is funny.

Another autism for fixing a joke that was done wrongish:

白痴道 . This is pretty good and made funnier because the second character 痴 (chi) is a Buddhist term for ignorance so it's like a double humor for being a spiritual way of white retardation....

Although, I personally would have written it
白人痴道 (haku jin chi do) because (人) signifies it's a white PERSON not just "white" as in the color. "white" in this kanji without any additional moniker can also mean "innocent" or "bare" so it loses it's intended meaning. You can read "白痴道" as "way of the innocent fool".

Also, the game is set in the Homeworld universe, whatever that is.
This actually makes me worried, because this game was developed by several people from Blackbird core team, who are working on Homeworld 3, as a form of side project, an evolution of the old Hardware: Shipbreakers and then Homeworld:Shipbreakers project, a free-to-play RTS about dismantling spaceship wreckages (although on planet's surface, not in space), that changed overtime to an RTS game, Deserts of Kharack, set in Homeworld universe. I REALLY do hope the story update was not done by those people, but by some new, lefty interns, who decided to project their idyllic vision of the future of workers unions.

Also, the game is not part of the Homeworld universe, it had shed its links and became its own thing.

I wonder if the editor put the vallhalla footage in too. Imagining sseth playing that crap is unbelievable.
...then again, he did have Ken Ashcorp and a bunch of other losers in his Wizardry 8 video.

I thought the schizo jokes were reasonably funny but I'd rather he have made the shitty shoehorned in story the butt of the joke and the bit kind of detracted from that. Caves of Qud is a good example of him flat out roasting the devs over their stupid decisions; this time around it almost felt like he didn't want to stir the pot by going in too hard on them. The ad was somehow the funniest part of the video.
The video as a whole felt a lot more experimental, and I can see why he wants to move his collaboration content over to his second channel. Gives him a way to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks without filling his main channel with lackluster content. Best of both worlds.

He kinda does do that. The whole Hal middle manager rant at the 2nd meds joke is literally word-by-word the story. In fact, most of the video narrative is pretty much the game's actual story itself.

In theory, that could still be appropriate, as one starting on said path really wouldn't know any better. It'd be more of a "aww, look at this adorable nugget who's in over his head" than "lol this faggot got bullied off the short bus".

Or in Chinese it would read "Way of the idiot". The origin of this phrase is the same, recorded in an annotation of a quote to the book of (former) Han in (written in 82) by some guy in the late 6th century. I doubt sseth is going to try and read old ass Classical Chinese that is a bitch to understand for 99% of people though.
《漢書‧昌邑哀王劉髆傳》“清狂不惠”顏師古注引三國魏蘇林曰:“清狂,如今白癡也。”
Origin: Book of Han, Biography of King of Anshi (Liu Wei), "To be insane is not favorable".
Quoted by Yan Shigu on Wei Sulin's statement: "You are indeed crazy, but also an imbecile."

So you're telling me the editor messed up a Chinese joke by making it Japanese? That's two for one.

I'm not sure if the editor was retarded, didn't know the difference or just wanted some "moonrunes" since that's Kanji not Katakana (I'll let you decide), former of which is based off Chinese. Your version of 白人痴道 wouldn't work in Chinese since most of those "Way of the X" are three characters combos and not four.
The usage of the term is much more insulting than "fool", since 白 ="worthless" 癡 = "idiot". Fyodor Dostoevsky's Although in modern days it's not as offensive as it once was, The Idiot is translated loosely into 《白癡》.
All in all, this is just language autism. Jokes that would have been better:
  • 南蛮不可思議光如来 - I'll leave that one for you to guess :)
  • Something about old women having children with irradiated eggs and having 哈卵 (retarded ovums)
  • Talking about slave labor while a flash of Cherkov's radiation hits you with the large characters 清明之光 (Sarcastically meaning "An enlightened and prosperous light*") coming out.
  • 白學道 - Way of wasted learning. From Analects, Chapter II:
學而不思則罔,思而不學則殆
"To study and not bear to think is a waste, to think but not study is dangerous"

*From Book of Late Han 《後漢書》- 清明之世 or "Enlightened and prosperous era". Most famously used as an ironic title for a famous Song Dynasty painting.

The idea of a workers union meme thing in Homeworld literally wouldn't work. Homeworld is far too spiritual, and BSG-esque for that shit to even be considered. If you were on the Mothership and suggested that shit, you'd soon be off the Mothership and getting flown into a Tiidan corvette swarm to 'Try your best friend!'.

The editor he hired is not just doing the editing, he's also doing the writing.
Now, he supposedly plans to address this in an upcoming video, but just so people know what to expect, he basically already cashed out.
Welp that explains it all, like recent posters here i also felt something was wrong with the last couple videos not having that spark.
Channel is now just a passive revenue collector, i don't blame seth because if i found an easy 0 effort gold mine like he did i would had taken the automated route sooner.
If anything this is entirely in character
