Wrong! According to Dave its a profession style way of speaking so he can gather his thoughts on the fly. He actually thinks he is a good speaker and staring at his phone will go unnoticed because he is filling the dead air with "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... now guys.................. anyways, where were we? Oh yeah"

There was a week where he was showing off his "fast talk skill" and was so proud of himself for just... talking fast. People made fun of him too hard and he stopped, which is a shame because its one of the spergeier flexes hes had.

Sadly I missed this, it sounds like an experience.

Even on a good day Phil has problems putting together a coherent sentence. Phil struggles with pronunciation on the regular, though a lot of that could be gin brain and mushmouth. But if we got back to some of the early TIHYDPs, even back then Phil had the oratory skills of a dead hamster.

Because Phil thinks you actually sound intelligent if your oration is comprised of verbosity, furthermore if you verbalize and neglect to utilize redundant, and incorrect vocabulary, you shall sound more the simpleton than one whose speech is basic and transparent.

I think he genuinely believes that smart people talk like how they write smart characters on kids shows: Brain from Arthur, Jimmy Neutron, etc.

Yesterday's fast food tier list stream was insufferable. One of the worst he's ever done. I remember him a few days ago saying how he eats fast food very rarely now, and yet if you listened to him talk yesterday, you would think he eats it daily.
It was over 2 hours of him overenthusiastically yelling about fast food. It was uncomfortable watching him; like he was putting on a performance.
And predictably, he was shilling for the fast food chains he really liked, while making scat metaphors about the ones he really disliked. An excruciating stream all around. Content for actual retarded people.

Its really just a joy watching him be so proud of such a nothing talent and then claiming he has to purposely slow down his normal speech because his brain works so fast!

It's just standard unintelligent politician talk where he babbles for 20 minutes what an average person would say in 5 and an actually intelligent person would say in 1 minute without leaving out any meaning. He's the King of Pleonasms and Malapropisms. That's the main thing peepol who are as arrogant as they are ignorant don't understand. Just because you talk much doesn't mean you're smart at all, in fact one way you can spot a really intelligent person and not just some bloviating midwit is if they can talk about complicated shit concisely and still give you a complete picture of it. For some things it can't be helped, really complex concepts would still take a few minutes to explain even if you're trying to be as brief as possible. So piggy sees Michio Kaku explain some concept from theoretical physics for 5 minutes, then concludes that if he talks about the bad Doordashed meal he had for 15 minutes while relating it to basic concepts from customer support then it must mean he's at least 3 times smarterer and gooder at talking.

Thats what dragged out the sidescrollers for so long, phil can't just stay on subject without going on six different tangents that have nothing to do with the original topic. They ask phil a simple question and he rambles about nothing for 10 minutes. Luckily they cut him off most of the time or he literally would have rambled for 45 minutes at a time talking to himself like he does during his prestreams. I've tried to go back and watch certain parts of the interview but its really hard to sit through phil rambling so much, I can't imagine how exhausting it is to unironically sit through his prestreams every single day.

Fast food is one of the only things on Earth along with mobile games (WWEC, SF Duel) that he truly loves. It definitely does seem like he eats fast food daily or at the minimum 5 days a week which is fucking insane. I think it has to do with his need for instant satisfaction.

Phil’s prestream speeches are the stuff that would make Fidel Castro and Kim Jong Un blush. A bunch of hot air for extended periods of time where you say absolutely nothing. It’s as if the prestream speeches are the only thing he’s memorized because he’s pignotized himself so much.

Yeah this seems to be almost every day now, it's strange because he would often get a $20-$50 tip on the pre stream from "lisalou" or "Brett F" or whatever sock was in the rotation that day.

Perhaps they overspend in the last few days and now have to recover from it. We are over the half of the month so they have their own bills to pay. Plus all those gifted memberships. Money doesn't grwo on trees despite what Phil tends to believe
