I think Ralph assumed him eating less would cause him to lose weight rapidly, issues with that is
1) he is Chugging maybe 1k cals of alcohol a day
2)The alcohol is likely fucking with his liver at this point and therefore fucking his metabolism
3) His depression isn't helping
4) certain benzos have some evidence that they cause weight gain

The gunt is also almost 40 and is not ready for how a middle aged mans body behaves.

5) Spends 8-12 hours a day sedentary behind a computer, and the other 12-16 hours unconscious. Say maybe a 500 cal/day BMR burn rate, if he is lucky. He hasn't been able to holler in the last 2 and 1/2 years without being out of breath and wheezing for half an hour afterwards. He doesn't even do his "2 mile Spite Walk," when he says he will, because the booze/xannie cocktail renders him unconscious and unable to remember his spite. He is completely lacking any willpower, not just because he is a weak willed hedonist, but because his hedonism has rendered him physically and mentally incapable of stopping or changing course. He has no cardiovascular health, a cirrhotic liver, literal brain damage from trauma, benzos, and alcoholic wet brain, and even with external intervention at this point to clean him up (which he will actively fight allowing to happen), he has done such permanent damage to his brain and internal organs that he will be debilitated to the point of never being able to sustain a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle in a meaningful form if he were to turn it around.

In short, he is past the point of no return, and might as well put the pedal down. We are no longer Deadpooling whether or not our stunning and brave tranny dyke will go tits up this year. That is a sure bet. The betting now has to go to the exact cause of death.

when i worked as a paramedic many years ago, we were called to a residence for a "man down, cold to the touch". we arrived to find a middle-aged male, face-down in the bathroom, with blood around the toilet, the sink, and on the floor near his mouth. he had no pulse, and he was, in fact, cold to the touch.

unfortunately, he was also well-known to ems. he was an alcoholic whom we had responded to numerous times, most recently for an extrication from a single-vehicle collision about a month prior. that collision, and numerous other alcohol-involved incidents, led to court-mandated substance abuse treatment, including the administration of antabuse, which is a medication used to deter the consumption of alcohol by producing extremely unpleasant physical reactions. it isn't always an effective deterrent, however. when this particular patient decided to resume drinking, it induced vomiting. it was later determined that his death was the result of a hemorrhage that occurred when his esophageal varices ruptured while vomiting.

the ragepig is already at high risk for respiratory failure because of his addictions and obesity. if he happens to have esophageal varices that rupture, he will suffocate in a pool of alcohol, blood, and vomit.
