Can't believe I'm just learning about this guy. Truly funny stuff. I miss when there were just weird people online that didn't have cadres of insufferable weens trying to get them to cut their dick off.

The community is a lot of fun. People even rented out a theater to watch WW3
The crazy thing is that I've legit seen these guys talking about doing it since the first trailer was released, it's really neat to see that they followed through.

I feel like a lot of people like Tamers the same way they like artists such as Daniel Johnston, these alternative lo-fi DIY types that seemingly have this endless need to create. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some hipster 5-7 years from now is wearing a Sonic and Bartleby shirt in the vein of Kurt Cobain

I like how this isn’t even a proper lolcow thread it’s essentially become a Tamers mini-fan forum and I honestly think belongs more in Multimedia.
 
The most interesting thing I find Tamers interesting that he is only interested in Sonic Underground and doesn't include other Sonic stuff outside of it. That is something in the world of Sonic Fandom that one person only cares for some farted out Sonic cartoon to drum up interest for the Dreamcast.

Yeah and every time I see someone in the comments ask why characters like Tails and Amy aren’t in the videos he either says that he doesn’t know who they are or that they’re not in SU.

To be fair, was this guy ever truly a lolcow to begin with?

Lolcows are labelled as such because of the reactions they give, a lot of them would be boring as dirt otherwise. If someone straight up makes things that people find entertaining for whatever reason without prompting, regardless of anyone's perception of quality, I feel that just makes them an entertaining person.

Hard to say. If you look at his oldest stuff, maybe. They’re comprised of fan art drawings, fanfic readings, cringey AMVs, all stuff that were common in late 2000s-early 2010s YouTube. And the stuff where he appears in his costume aren’t the God-tier stuff that it is now.

I love Tamers' content but I think he kinda is, in a harmless way. Or in the literal sense that he makes you lol with his videos.
You don't get to put this much effort into making Sonic Underground content for over a decade and can just go "I'm just messing around".
He lacks malice and has actual wit and cleverness in his comments and general writing which prevents people that aren't first time watchers from laughing at or ridiculing him as a person.
