You will never be a Matt Orchard. You have no narrative, you have no deception, you have no shocking twist. You are a decent YouTube channel twisted by the algorithm and clickbait into a crude mockery of True Crime’s perfection.

For real though, it wasn't a bad episode, but man their attempt to have a twist fucking flops. Someone else had covered the case so I know who did it, but I wouldn't of be surprised by their presentation otherwise. "OMG the guy who is the most likely suspect and who you have publicly released interrogation footage of... was the killer?!?"

Stick to your role EWU, you put out frequent content of little covered cases, you've gotten better at that and have definitely picked up what JCS laid on table, but you're skill isn't at making an amazingly composed narrative.

I'm personally more than willing to watch a 3+ hours long video if it's interesting enough, but if you just put together unedited (and mostly boring) footage and don't even subtitle audio that's hard to understand, then fuck you kindly.

Christ what an edgy douchebag. I can't get over his stupid voice. You can tell he's trying to put on a "dark" and "badass" voice, but it doesn't work because his scripts are awful and his lispy voice keeps cracking.

I watched this out of curiosity because of the movie Myra Hindley thumbnail and my god, it's pretty bad. I agree that his voice sounds very artificial. What is with the fucking weird rants and old meme references? Damn, Daniel? Seriously? It is badly juxtaposed with the uncanny dry delivery. It's like this guy tries to be Shrouded Hand with his dry wit but fails horribly. Plus the flow of the video is all over the place. There's no coherency in the narration because he goes off on random tangents.

Why was he talking about the bystander effect at the start of the video? What did that have to do with anything? Why was Myra Hindley in the thumbnail? What does she have to do with anything?

Anyway, new Disturban with a tale from the US. A story about a woman breaking up with her psycho boyfriend, then getting stalked, acid thrown at her, and finally murdered for daring to leave his psychotic ass. Unfortunately, a tale as old as time.

I am similarly bothered by Disturban's inconsistency with titles.

I have mentioned before that it feels less respectful and more sensationalist and it strikes a weird note with me that he changes the titles post-upload. Like...why? What is up with the new format?
