There's not enough crusted on CGers to do better than the Rekieta Vegas freakshow so the likelihood that EVS will organize (well anything really) is small, add to which imagine the potential for violence, dox cringe and general unpleasantness given who is left in the (bowel) movement.
I don't know what you're referring to, but as far as I know, we're (All Caps Comics) crowdfunding to raise $100K to cover costs, including to rent a space in a hotel in Orlando. We have two convention organizers who do big shows in NJ that have volunteered to put it together. I put it on hold because I've got too much work to do, and my books are late. But I think we'll be able to do it.

Getting to mingle with e-celebs would be another fun incentive for the attendees. We'd have to schedule an after-party or two, where people could drink with Anna and Cecil. Whatever they wanted. This is a social club as much as a comics club thanks to YouTube.
That is demonstrably not true and a very silly thing to say. He knows Rekieta for example and to suggest he somehow has compartmentalized knowledge is ridiculous on the face of it. Why not just have a friendly gathering of the people you genuinely like, at a top table, and then guests (paid attendees) at however many other tables? Probably need one or two professional security "just in case" and events coordinator who is a pro event organizer, leaving you free to mingle, do whatever you like. And it keeps it away from your home and away from the now old fashioned Anime Matsuri style deviancy and filth.
