oh my god the fucking twists and turns in this thread!! keeping up with this insane fifth-dimensional rollercoaster ride is threatening to impinge on my real-life responsibilities, but i can't look away.

like others, i feel the Gemini account is the smoking gun here. something to keep in mind if this swatuation ends up being federal (which i think it might be due to interstate communication of threats & interference with lawful commerce) is that generally those guys work very, very slowly and steadily, so it might be many many months or even years before they finally spring the trap on fat & bring charges.
