So I just finished watching the RWBY x Justice League movie and I have opinions about it. It was a waste of an hour and a half. All the Justice League characters felt horribly out of character and the entire movie was just team RWBY and The League passing the idiot ball around and the pace of this would change rather abruptly. Also all the humor is super cringy. Now everything I say from here on out is spoilers and a synopsis of the movie, so if you really care about torturing yourself avoid the second half of this post.
We good? Cool. Superman is the first to arive with a classic case of the forgetsies and immediately meets Ruby and Yang fighing off the walking inciting incident. They lecture him briefly about a semblance and we cut to Blake who is with her mother. I forgot to mention all the characters have their V 1-3 designs which is nice. All the Justice League characters look awful and are for some reason teenagers. Blake meets Wonder Woman and go to Beacon to see of Oz knows anything. Lastly Weiss meets Batman who apparently decided to be a whole new person in this movie because the only thing this character shares with Batman is his name. Also Vixen, The Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern meet with team JNPR minus the P and everyone meets up, except Weiss and Batman because they are in Atlus. And if you don't know who Vixen is, she is a black woman. Just a note, the GL in this movie is Jessica Cruz only because she is a woman, and has anxiety. Some bad fight animation and terrible jokes later they decide to split up. Bumblebee and WW go to Atlus becuase WW is thirsty.
Jaune and JL look for her ring and get haunted by Pyrrha's ghost. Everyone else goes to fight some grimm because there is literally nothing else for them to do. Batman is apparently a fanus with bat wings and has special eyes that allow him to see how to advance the plot. Jessica and Jaune find out this is a simulation and go to tell everyone. Soon everyone reconvenes and fight some grimm. We find out Kilgore has trapped them all within the Matrix and by fighting a whole lot they beat him. Oh yeah, and Ruby had an arc about being a leader for some reason. She doubted herself but now it's ok because Super Man reaffirms her. Team RWBY and co wake up from their simulation in their terrible post V 7 attire and the movie ends.
There was also some manufactured drama around Cyborg, Ren, and Nora that fell flat and was so jaring to listen to. Overall a terrible movie and for some reason the audience was eating this shit up like it was Avengers Endgame. The VAs for team RWBY were at the pannel at the end of the movie which was cool. This movie wasn't even worth hate watching.
