I always found it weird how he'd dowI know GPs in the UK say 'Take this!' and people pretty much do without questioning it. nplay the way he hyped the Vic lawsuit after it was dismissed in 2019. He'd say "I never said it was going to be a sure thing", which was technically true, ...

I get your point. It's hard to stay consistent over such a long period of time, but I remember from the very beginning his saying that defamation lawsuits are really hard to bring and win.

It's not that he "never said it was going to be a sure thing;" it's that he specifically stated that it was not a sure thing, which is different.

The Paypigs are growing restless with nick's lack of schedule recently and no travel updates on his way to philly

View attachment 5075272

This is normal for LOCALS and his fans in general. The only thing that has changed is that he NEVER posts anymore about his schedule. He counts on people watching his show and remembering the 1-2 times he says it in the week lead-up.

People have come to expect it, and fans still cut him slack. It has gotten worse since the YT exclusive days, though. He used to post a lazy 'Can't do show. Sprained my vagina!' 20 minutes before his show was supposed to start.

Contrast that with Joe the Jew who scrupulously informs his audience with boomer month calendars.

Circling back to this, what's going on with the full logs? It seems like Rekieta will be partying in Philly with Masterson for some time and making very little if any content, so now would be a convenient time for the thread to dig into it.

I'm just swamped and short on time. I have tmrrsponosbilities that are eating up more of my time and other normal responsibilities.

I should have a good chunk of Friday free after work.

I always found it weird how he'd downplay the way he hyped the Vic lawsuit after it was dismissed in 2019. He'd say "I never said it was going to be a sure thing", which was technically true, but no one who thinks that is spending hours calling all the submissions from his team solid gold (except when they'd occasionally miss something Nick wanted in there) and all the submissions from his opponents as abject garbage. That was the point I realized that Nick has no special insight on the law and if he says some legal result is going to happen, then it won't (or vice versa), which has proven true on everything except Rittenhouse IIRC.

I'm going to fall on the more pessimistic side and say he hyped it to the moon and back. I still understand that the courts are a roll of the dice (the only constant I have kenned from him) but Nose did go harder on the sell to pump up that GFM. He wanted people to think it was more likely than not.

To me, this is just classic Nick: overstate your knowledge of thr law, get people excited so that they think it is pretty much a slam dunk, then if it comes back in an unfortunate way say: 'I never SAID it was 100%!', with equivocation.

Ever since Keffals, I have noticed that he likes to play lawyerly word games. That is just slimy and I cannot trust anything he says without thinking of other interpretations as possibilities. You can't push a narrative then stand on technicalities later. This was one of the first red flags I had.

EDIT for no doubleposting.

Looking in on dead LOCALS (seriously no posts in ~3 hours in the BEST chat):

Still-Life has self-moderated himself and is only edgy. No fedposting in a while, it seems. Below is typical fare:

The resident schizo behind icancook and PapaBear38 (formerly panzerdood) has confirmed their YT and voice by posting a video. They are also a FAT becuase they stop to take breaths in the middle of their sentences.

The strange NEED people (Twitter Is Cancer) have for Null to talk about their pet retard on MATI is obnoxious. Null isn't going to say anything new about them that we don't already know, and he frequently gets things wrong because he doesn't religiously follow every single thread he talks about.

Josh is at his best when he’s sharing things he’s actually personally interested in. Then his autism has an inviting quality to it.

Like I said earlier, I personally listen to MATI to learn about shit I DON'T read about on here. Which means I don't feel the need to hear about Rekieta on MATI.

Not just that, but if he covered Rekieta too often when nothing is really happening, then it would come off as just petty personal grudge shit. Things haven’t honestly been exciting enough in Rekieta World to justify mentioning on MATI.

Twitter is Cancer got mad that he couldn't use null as a weapon against Nick. TiC was a faggot and rightfully ate a ban.

There is a difference between a "not a sure thing" and a badly organized case that was incompetently made by a mistake-prone trust fund attorney which ended in a ruinous anti-SLAPP verdict. Worse than his downplaying has been his more recent attempts to claim he didn't really know Ty Beard or much about him back then.

Fucking boring.

Why bother to spend the $5/mo only to learn one has to hang around and act pathetic enough to hopefully become eligible to be "Saved!" from their boring existence and brought into the little special paradise. Only to learn the murky depths behind why such paradise needed existing in the first place to hide the community's perpetual mental illness and total embarrassment from the public. Also, here's Nitro and boosts to sub to be even more l33t tier. Congrats, pleb.

I find his retardation (Nick's) amusing, but honestly, he's not worthy of that much of an honor. He's amusing exactly because he's that mediocre.
(4) Eggs in mac and cheese? That doesn't seem right. This must be some fucked up southern recipe.
I use evaporative milk. It can be added midway if it gets a little too dry. It makes it more filling and it can easily last for days for busy workweeks. It stays just as moist as the original. It fridges and reheats really well, too.

Doesn't the fact that Nick is crying poor as an excuse for further delay in the 5k gift indicate exactly zero work has been done on getting it into production other than a possible blueprint?
He has only ever made allusions to how hard it is to get art done for the 5k gift. I assume nobody has told him about Fiverr. The real reason is that the gift has already served its purpose: he got the 5000 subscribers, so no need to work on the gift. Also, the length of his Youtube ban was perfect: just long enough to grift up a bunch of paying locals subs, but not so long that it cost him much Youtube viewership.

This was the weirdest thing about the whole Vic case to me. I am not surprised at all that an estate lawyer is used to cutting corners on administrative things - basically nobody in Ty's usual practice actually cares if a notarization is valid. I was very surprised that Nick's first response was to distance himself to that degree from his "role model" as a lawyer. Even Ty himself admitted that he fucked up.
It is. Apparently leads to a creamier texture, but I've never tried it to see if it actually works or not.

You all live like cavemen. Making a proper bechamel isn't that hard, and makes a perfectly creamy sauce without any weird additives. Certainly not an egg - that's just a fucked up carbonara.

I might be alone on this, but Mac and Cheese is garbage and has always been garbage and nothing disappointed me more as a kid than coming home to a giant bowl of Mac and Cheese. "Oh of if you do this this this" NO. At it's base Mac & Cheese is a boring, unappealing, empty meal and no amount of lobster or doctoring is going to make it good. It's just meh, it's always meh or sometimes it's terrible.

And to keep this Nick related, hasn't he mentioned a recipe before that specifically uses shitty box kraft Mac & Cheese as its base?

Like the slob that he is, he cooks ramen nightly to ram in his maw for his paypiggies, so regardless of what reality is I‘m going with yes you’re correct.

I don't use egg because why, but the only difference is that it's evaporative and not straight milk. Also add together butter, salt, etc. It's far less creamy because I prefer my roni to be firmer, but still plenty moist when baked. Anyway, back to Nick because wgaf...

Why even bother. It just uses time that could've been used making literally anything else.

I agree that Nick's distancing himself from the Vic case was calculated. I think he figured that enough of that audience had already bled off that he could do it and re-invent himself with the new audience.

Just one more similarity to Ralph: he has a topic that will always be a sore spot for people to poke.

The memes and characters from WW were par excellence, however!

@Twitter Is Cancer was skating on thin ice for messing with Rekieta's GSG.
That was very naughty, but I think what caused Null to cave in his skull the most was the ludicrous suggestion that Rekieta and Ethan Van Schiver were paying him protection money to have stuff censored on the site.

As soon as I saw that I was all like "Oh, this will end badly!"

Sure enough...

He is mediocre at being a cow too. So lazy.

One recipe I used called for cheddar cheese soup and heavy cream as the base for the sauce. That produced a much stronger cheesier taste than regular mac and cheese.

It is very plain and wallpaper paste tasting. I've experimented with spicing it up by adding red hot sauce and chicken to turn it into buffalo chicken mac and cheese.

My mother made the worst mac and cheese. she would throw in some cheese, never enough and butter. Then cook it in the oven until it was grease and burnt pasta.

What do these eyes say to you?
He fucks his mom.

I may have misread your post... I got the impression your plan might be to drip feed the logs instead of just posting them. If you just need time to sort them out, ignore me.

I think he won't do it because it reminds him of his current number of subscribers. When was the last time he announced subscriber numbers? He announced 5k at the peak of activity in Locals. Does he even have 5k paying people as of this moment? I'm guessing he will just talk about how it's coming or whatever until people forget about it. Same with the 24 hour stream and everything else.

The other thing is that $40,000 isn't really that much to send a physical gift to 5,000 people. That's $8 per person and that presumably has to include shipping costs. Does he intend to make people pay for shipping? What can that give you more than a t-shirt? And has Nick considered international shipping costs yet?

He also teased having information that could only come from reaching out and talking to people in Nick's (small-l) local community. So yeah, thin ice.

To be honest, the suggestion that Null was pulling all-nighters to ensure that the site went down at the precise moment someone mentioned somebody on an obscure live stream about comics is so absurd that I have to assume that it was either an attempt at dry sarcasm that came off poorly or a deliberate attempt to get banned to buttress the "noseguard" claims. It's just comical.

I'd be interested to know how many of those original 5k are still subscribers. I'm definitely no longer one. I can't imagine he'll ever go through with it because there's probably a ton of people from that original 5k that are no longer subs.

He seemed like an unhinged weirdo/troll, his posts were always so over-the-top and dripping with butthurt that I can't honestly believe people like him actually exist, and that he was just a troll trying to de-rail the thread. He had some success spreading baseless speculation earlier in the thread that's for sure.

I've considered that latter possibility.

It seemed like he was pushing all the buttons, and I'm not sure you can unintentionally push all the buttons. It did almost seem like a deliberate attempt to get the axe.

You'll probably find out if you're right by checking the comments sections of Elissa's videos, and the D&V Investigations chat. Same screen name. If he's in there claiming he got silenced for "exposing the truth," or some other such bullshit, you're quite possibly right.

At one point he claimed he was still going to do it for people who were no longer subbed or who has lapsed. A BPD Karen actually asked about it in a paid chat. He also addressed another international and said he was taking the hit because he LUVS his fans.

The 40k USD was an estimate he came up with and it was supposed to be all-inclusive. I wonder if the cost went up?

It was supposed to work like this: Nick sends a link to the e-mail list he has supposedly saved with a link to a coupon to redeem it, send the company your address, they ship it to you for free. Nick would then be invoiced for final shipping.

I agree that the number of paying subs is probably much lower now for monthlies, but he had a bunch of people sign up for a year. Definitely enough of them for there to be ones who whinge openly that they got bait-and-switched. (I think it was documented in this thread?) and asking if they could get a pro rata refund.

EDIT: DROPPED sentence
