Video streaming platforms are one of the most expensive money pits in the tech industry.

That said, they probably got lowball estimates from companies assuming Sam would only be getting a couple hundred concurrent viewers. Given Sam’s notoriety it wouldn’t be surprising if he got exponentially more traffic than his host quoted him for.

Honestly it feels like Sam really caught lightning in a bottle with this cast, the premise, and execution so far, that I hope this is the only major fuck up in the road. Anything more would just get people to tune out if the whole premise is 24/7 access for apparently over a month, yet we're missing days at a time here.

What a shame, but I shouldn't have had to be surprised. In order to cut costs(?), they cut corners on the planning part or it was overlooked. Expecting only 5k viewers was just the tip of the iceberg and I knew bigger problems would arise because of that. With how the website was built, the multiple TTS messages playing at the same time or not even playing at all (data structures lol), being able to restream the whole thing on Sam's behalf and the token duping glitch gives a certain insight. Either it was slapped together without enough testing and/or the fishtank IT department have no fucking clue what they are doing.
This was a massive fuckup. I bet Sam is beyond livid right now and is probably fisting the website devs' assholes dry. Graf's a faggot, but if he pulls this off, he regained some respect back from the poast chimpouts.

I miss this show already, the autists are pretty funny. I hope this shit will get fixed as soon as possbile.
