Unrecord is a single-player FPS that tells the story of a tactical police officer from the perspective of his body camera. As you work to solve a complex case, you'll need to use your tactical and detective skills to succeed.

Those faggots complaining are probably the same type who say that all new games suck or are reskins like Madden or FIFA, not realizing that they are the reason no one wants to ever try something new or take risks.
Rate me MATI, these faggots are why nothing cool ever comes out anymore.

I am eating a bagel rn

Nice to see a second trailer for this game, I remember when the first one came out in March 2019

It's amazing how far camera motion and a low res video filter will carry you. The motion is absolutely going to get annoying after a little bit of playing it though. Most of the 'realism' comes from them using 3d scanned Megascans assets, and the quick light adaptation settings for the camera, also no bloom. If they are using UE5 Nanite, the levels are going to be completely static though, and file size will be big with a large vram/ram overhead. Gotta love modern game engines lol. I can already see temporal artifacting from UE5's terrible anti aliasing in the footage, its sort of hidden behind the motion blur and fisheye and stuff, but its still there.

Yes, the individual with the pronouns in his bio is clearly correct. What a creatively bereft waste of talent and tech this game is.

They should've made yet another pastel colored game with vague anime aesthetics where a bunch of dopes hug and cry about how terrible life is and how hard it is to be a fat retard or homo or w/e.

Now that's true creativity.

Yes it would be creatively bankrupt to not make the millionth horror game where you hide from things while looking through a camera.

There are barely any games beyond the shittiest indie level where you play as law enforcement, particularly normal law enforcement. Rainbow Six Siege is superficially themed around paramilitaries but has little to do with it in practice. Ready or Not is an exception and they shit over that too. Police Simulator exists for writing traffic tickets for spergs that play with toy cop cars. Then there are several simulation/strategy games (This is the Police, 911 Operator), and some VERY old AAA games (basically just True Detective).

It's a genre that doesn't exist. But we've already seen this happen before with the mythical shooting Arab soldier games that were claimed to be everywhere. That had a few more entries, though, so it's history repeating itself as farce.

I see this gent never played Arma 3, Hell Let Loose or Squad

It's an asset flip that's inevitably going to be really shit, but this dude is smart and decided to use the most controversial theme possible just to get free widespread attention for his garbage project.
Have you watched the new video? Not a single one of those assets appears in the new trailer, that packs look similar to the old Proof of Concept video from last year, but not at all similar to UNRECORD.

A lot of my friends sent me videos talking about how amazing this is and I'm just like "You make something low res and it looks realistic now, who'd da thunk?"

This just feels like the shit that backrooms dude did tbqh. I mean it's a neat trick but it's absolutely hilarious how low resolution imaging makes things look more realistic in the right context now.

Conceptually, it's a very interesting premise and I'm going to keep an eye on it to see if it becomes worth getting.
