Needlessly condescending not to mention that he is actively doing a promotion and give-away of a P320, the problem gun in question. Yeah he's being "transparent" about it, but it doesn't change the fact he has an inherent interest in minimizing the problem. The point he makes are also rather poor. Like he spends a lot of time talking about bad reloads, but realistically how many people reload in the first place and how many of those people are so fucking ass at reloading that their ammo is straight up hazardous.

He's shilling this awful raffle ticket prize company. You pay $50 for a $3 dollar mug with a cheap ForgottenWeapons logo printed on it. Then you are in with a chance to win the surplus M17 pistol.
Ian is pretty flexible about how he makes money and he fears no conflict of interest.

He's been shilling Sig for a while, which is obnoxious, but I can just tune it out. The video on the Q rifle may or may not have been actually paid for, but I've been seeing them here and there for a while and thought they were somewhat compelling, and the video was interesting for showing its novel mechanics, as well as the foible with 20rd magazines.
I genuinely don't think that's possible. With how he's been building connections with manufacturers and museums in all this time, he's been growing his reach for what he can showcase on video. I can think of hundreds of guns and related subjects which he could show on video or do a presentation on.
I'll say that a lot of the modern guns he's showing off aren't very interesting, however.
To play Devil's Advocate, some people shoot remanufactured ammo, ergo where a company gathers up spent cases at a range and then has a bunch of unskilled labor manning reloading benches reload it. They fucking shouldn't, because quality control is dogshit and manufacturing errors are seemingly a lot more common, but people still do because it's inexpensive.

Honest to god I think everyone should take a first aid course at some point, even if it's just a CPR and heimlich course from the Red Cross. It's just good stuff to learn in general regardless of who you are.

On a different point, the reason that 4chan pol types hate Ian was over a Rhodesia comment made by Vickers on a video. Ian told a bunch of them they were full of shit in the comments, he was probably right, but they felt betrayed. The old r/gats subreddit banned mention of him after that. They've been trying to make psyops shit up ever since, but it is transparent, fake and very LGBTQ+, so it never sticks.

His last 9 videos have been thinly veiled shilling. It sticks out too because you'd rarely see back-to-back shill videos but to have 9 in a row now is an eye sore. I hope this doesn't become the norm.

I'm not entirely sure Ian is running out of guns to cover, he's probably "optimizing " better his content output (after all, there's truly a shitton of guns around, and he has not covered a lot of stuff I've seen in museums around Europe, hell, he hasn't covered rare-ish pieces that are in my own collection). He's probably thinking long-term, the daily good video is a thing of the past.
It does make following the channel less interesting, though. Pieces of QA repurposed as videos, shilling (how to forget the embarrassing "buy a Scottish title") and meaningless stuff that doesn't strike me as particularly... noteworthy. I'd almost prefer if he started covering more actual use of some of his Forgotten Weapons (so, Forgotten History) or, god forbid, more on accessories (like his suppressor videos).
As some of you said, a good part of his audience is Euros or noguns that aren't particularly interested in the shilling. I wonder if this will cause some push-back.
