Because it is, Bellarussia as well as Ukraine is quite a young state and has been under Lithuanian/Polish rule for a long time, but it still does not explain why the Belarusian nationalists of 1920-40 decided to take it as the basis of their identity when it was already taken by Lithuania, but I am no expert on the mythology of ZmagarsTo me this just seems like an off color Lithuanian coat of arms pressed on an off color Lithuanian flag.

Who are they? There are Nazis in Belarus, this flag is primarily associated with the Nazi Belarusian puppet government, like the flag of the UPA, except that they are marginal oppositionists and after 2021 Luka kicked most of them out of the country and most moved to Poland or Lithuania, and the more military-minded ones joined the Ukrainian nationalist battalionsThough, tbf your post could certainly be correct, though I am still confused. If they want to signal being Nazis, why choose associations with Belarus out of all countries?

In fact, Zmagars are twin brothers of Banderites, except that the Belarusian Maidan of 2020–2021 failed, and Lukashenko could no longer sit on two chairs and was forced to choose the side of Russia.
