I don't recall that particular case but I'm sure it happened or something similar to that happened, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ontario/Quebec/B.C HRT sentenced on that. There's no real way for anybody to combat these things as a defendant and it's pretty sad as far as my country goes. It does, yes. The act by itself isn't really bad in theory, you're not getting arrested or fined for calling someone a troon in public unless you're an employer or a corporation, it has very strict stipulations as to who can be fined and under what context. It's important to put laws in place that help Canadians, regardless of how fucked in the head they are or not. It's kind of a hot take but I like the Americans and their sense of patriotism.
