People kinda misunderstand how the system works, we have basic coverage and emergency services that can vary depending on province. If you end up banged up in a car accident, you're not gunna pay $40,000, if you wanna see a doctor for a check up you're not going to pay out the nose for it but that's basically it. Dental is not covered, medication is not covered, eye related stuff is not covered. You can get a job that can give you coverage for those things or you can be on disability, in which case they'll give you limited coverage.
It's possible that Kweeeen Kefffaaawls is awarded much more than 100k, I've seen complainants be awarded upwards of over a million dollars in one circumstance but whatever Kweeeen Kefffaaawls is paying for lawyers fees is going down the tube, the Ontario Human Right's Tribunal can't award cost of legal expenses. It's more than likely that he'll walk away with $40,000 at best but you never know, they'll probably settle for that.
