Sakana has said before how Canadian labor laws really favor the employee and it's a big hassle for a company to fire someone since they have to prove more things in order to justify it. It's a shame, I like Yuri! Kind of ridiculous the Twitter replies dragging Phase Connect. If she kept violating her contract, she knows the consequences.

My rrat is that she either fucked up bad but it was behind the walls(most likely stealing donos and shit) or she wants to jump ship to another corpo and PC whipping her socials is a clause for breach of contract as form to tard wangle them. It doesn't make sense in my head to have a "we own you lmao" when you are trying to get indies to join your corpo, specially when your company is still a small fry, sakana can't be THAT autistic can he?

My take about yuri graduation is that it should be a warning for all people that keeps incentivizing people line Kirsche and other vtubers to join PC.


While we don't know anything about yuri termination, she lost her channel, model and everything else because of it. She did transfered the ownership of it to them, so yeah, next time when you want your oshi to join any company keep that in mind

Look it's their job to read the contract and see if there is any outrageous line like transferring ownership and losing everything when they leave otherwise PC is basically Machinima for menheras.

But going around begging for people to join X or Y company and doing it for free is peak corpofag behavior.

Here at least i still put under "doing as a joke" but the nigger doing publicaly on shit like Twitter and their discord server (both phase and tsunderia) are so out of touch that they deserve the rope.

I assume that there are venefits to going to a company, like getting a bigger reach and taking care of some of the legal matter, but if you are an already stablished streamer with a fanbase that is coming to your streams because of you, why would you go into a company that will most likely make your cut smaller and will likely have mandates for what you can and can't do in your streams

Note that he told people not to ask the other talents about it (standard procedure) out of respect for Yuri (unusual). The prepared farewell video from Yuri is also unusual. This is at least much more professional and seemingly amicable than Zaion's termination.

That said, we haven't heard Yuri's side yet. It is also strange for everything of Yuri's to be nuked when the Yuri persona predates her contract with Phase, and it would suck for her if that was because she signed away her IP.

Unsubstantiated rumours are that she was taking direct donations to bypass Phase and Youtube.

If the supposed rumor is true that seems pretty dumb on Yuri's part, like at minimum she should've given her normal cut to phase, I don't really care about her pocketing extra youtube cash but since she's part of the group the cut for them would be normal.

The other thing I find interesting is that she seemingly has to terminate her channels, she joined as an Invader and I thought the Invader stuff granted those talents more freedom and they got to keep ownership of their models. Either that's not the case or she didn't pay attention to the deal she signed with them.

I think her channel was kind stagnant, she was a solid 3 view but I never saw her growing much, Lumi's had a lot more success between the two like even without raids I've seen her cross into 1k+ on twitch. I never watched her much either.

I do feel pretty bad for Lumi, now she's sort of alone as the only Invader, hope it doesn't fuck with her too much because they were friends and joined up together.

Yuri's new model was allegedly paid by phase. Lumi's allegedly paid by fan donations. I dont have proof of anything.
