Are They Dead Yet? - Because sometimes, you just want someone to tell you if a cow is dead.

Sorry if this isn't the appropriate thread to post this in, but I couldn't find a better place to post since the admins over at LC locked down her thread pretty quick after the obituary was discovered.

I stumbled across something peculiar while going through Soren's LC threads. I don't know much about Pinterest, but her "stillbornfawn" account linked in the post below appears to still be active, showing that the last pins added to her "wolf girl" and "b" boards were recent as three weeks ago.

http://pin.it/nx5CYgx - link from the post, directs to the "b" pinboard through an invite code, which I'm assuming belongs to the anon who posted it (?)

When I was looking through the pins, the majority seem to be pinned from her "faggotuglyfuckingdickballs" tumblr blog which she deleted years ago, but a few are from other sources (the green Sora/Winnie the Pooh art was from an account on the now defunct Polyvore) and none appear to be recent, some also show to be pinned from the blog when you hover over them, but change to show other sources when you click to view them.

Again, apologies, I am completely clueless when it comes to Pinterest, and maybe it's a completely normal occurrence, especially since they were pinned from a tumblr blog that has since been deleted, and it's showing the original source on tumblr as the source for the pins now - I did test this by creating an account, pinning a few things from different sources, then viewing it while logged out, and the sources don't change at all when I click on pins. I did this with a few random accounts as well and Soren's is the only one that does that. The sources on her pins don't change if you view from a logged in account.

It's also worth mentioning that the timestamps aren't visible from a logged in account. I don't know if that's something on my end or Pinterest's shitty website, or maybe it has something to do with her account settings? As for the dating, I wasn't sure how accurate it is, so I tested this for myself just to make sure there was no possibility of this being some sort of error, I made a test board, and it does appear to be fairly accurate, down to the minute:

With Soren's history of faking her own death, creating fake obituaries, and her inability to stay off the internet, I think there's a higher chance that she ended up getting committed for a year or so without internet access than the chances of her actually being dead. If she remembered that people knew about this Pinterest account years ago, could she have pinned something to those boards and removed it when she realized, thinking that that would cover her tracks?

I'm curious about what you guys think. If there's someone here who has a pretty good grasp on how Pinterest works, is there any logical explanation for how this could happen if it were some kind of error? Can anyone check out the account and tell me if they see what I'm seeing here?
Pinterest got rid of exact timestamps a long time ago which frustrates me to no end. I’m seeing the same thing with the 3 weeks from the mobile app.

Although curiously if you look at the RSS feed of those boards (wolf girl [archive] and b [archive]) nothing is older than 2015.

I tried an experiment where I pinned something on some long dead boards and then deleted it to see if the date would stay.

Not only does the date not revert when you delete a new pin, but the date actually appears to reflect when the board was last modified.

I know nothing about Soren, but unless this is some strange bug on Pinterest's end, I think you could be right.

The Soren Saga is an incredible (and honestly, one of the most disgusting pieces of fiction I’ve come across in a long time) work of art. If the other commenter is correct, and Soren is back…well that would mean she got her sister to join in on the lies.

The way the Pinterest boards work is it shows the time/date it was added into a board, not when the link itself was created. So, it looks like that account is absolutely still active. Holy shit. I checked it myself, and the boards were created a month ago. Soren supposedly died over a year ago.

ETA: wondering if the Soren thread might get unlocked?

So what I learned when I was doing my own investigation and testing is that the way that it works isn't by the date the board was created, it's the date they were last added to - like I said in my post, she last added to those particular boards a month ago, but they've been around for several years. I don't have a screenshot from that far back, because there wasn't one in the LC threads, but there's no way she could have pinned those images from the deleted blog as the content is no longer accessible, and that blog was never fully archived.

Relevant images below showing how the timestamps work:

Something to note just for clarity's sake: Pinterest's timestamps are accurate - this is the same board from my last post, but the post sat in my drafts for a couple of days, the board's timestamp in the screenshot included in my original post isn't reflective of the age of the board at the time of posting, if anyone is concerned about that, though you can do the same exact test that I did with the same result

As for the thread being unlocked, I don't know if this is enough to warrant that, especially since Soren hasn't popped back up again on any other existing social media accounts, though I don't know why she would. I assume - if this is actually her and not some error - that she forgot people were aware of the Pinterest account. Since I've been the only one with this info (aside from people who have seen my post), I presume that I am the only one keeping my eyes open for any suspicious new accounts that could be her, but I wouldn't even know where to begin looking. Unless someone finds something else that LC moderators deem "milky" enough, I doubt anything will happen.

Sorry, I should’ve clarified that I meant what you said (you said it much better and less retarded than I did, hah!)

It’s definitely not enough, but with soren’s history, she usually “accidentally” does something like this or tests the waters. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s still on tumblr, and admittedly, I keep my eyes out for similar accounts. It makes me curious if her goodreads has been active lately, as well. That was the other place (and Amazon) that got her called out the first time for faking her death.

Thanks for all the details and the great reply. I’ll be keeping an eye out more, and not opening up the thread yet makes complete sense.

Soren is absolutely dead. I’m not going to powerlevel too terribly much, but we had mutual friends/acquaintances in real life and I know people who attended the funeral.

Are the Slatons dead yet? I've heard so many false reports about those two that it's hard to tell fact from fiction. I saw a picture of a beluga in Random Pics and it made me think of the only whale-forehead females I know of.

Looking for Anna Johnson?

last thing about her anywhere online is winning ice skating awards in April.

i've always expected the worst from her as she gets older and is no longer cutely odd or oddly cute, whatever that bizarre bible-routine of hers was.

Consequently she'll get less & less attention for being 'sick'.
munchies can be relentless, don't see a happy ending.

There was this one negress whose name I can't remember right now who was basically American Hollie Dance, keeping a dead girl on life support after a botched tonsillectomy left her daughter in a coma and legally dead. Did she die yet?

Mama Nails. Her little girl’s name was Jahi McMath and yes, she’s dead as of 2018 when her corpse finally shut down for good.
