That "beekeeping" outfit is most likely a bomb suit, meant to reduce the damage the blast wave does to the person wearing it. And yes, its design means that the person inside runs a real risk of overheating, though most bomb suits these days have battery-powered cooling units.

Here's hoping the person trying to defuse the bomb survived.

I found an article for the Pakistani who shot himself for TikTok earlier in the thread. There were other people doing it, and newspapers had to report them as "accidents" because suicide is illegal in Pakistan.

In the former, its very obvious the cops were bribed. India isnt exactly the most known for its uncorrupt police force.

As for the latter, fuck, if that happened, I would ask if I couldnt keep the helmet once this was all over. It would be a great trophy and reminder I just said "Not today" to the Grim Reaper.

For anyone wanting a bit more context, this guy went by the online name of Empty/Depriv3d and was a modder and animator, there was some discussion of this in the Girls Frontline thread in Games. Someone who had worked with him before confirmed he was dead so more than likely not a hoax.
