My assumption was she was getting her tubes tied, given the weird way he talked around it, but some cosmetic surgery with some lipo would also fit the bill.

There was speculation early-on that Doug might not be happy with Nick's degeneracy, but there are other explanations as to what happened there. Such as the fact that Doug is basically persona non grata on Youtube and a host of other social media platforms. For your consideration, here's an image from a "Junior Suite King" room at the first hotel I checked called the Hotel Landing in Wayzata. I can't state definitively that they're the same room, but they sure look similar.

Compare the canopy bed, wood trim at the top of the wall, ceiling light above the bed, and end table lamp (objects looking similar to the latter two items are barely visible at the top left and bottom left of the screenshot above, respectively).



Behind Nick appears to be a cabinet of some kind. Compare the image in the stream screenshot to this image of a cabinet from the "Luxury Suite" at the same hotel (zoomed in photo of cabinet attached).

I'd say its a match. The Canopy thing isn't going to be a common feature and alot of the other detail matches in the room.

Wayzata would tend IMO to be where you would stay for either cosmetic or specialist sorts of medical procedures.
