imo dan wasn't practicing good opsec talking to torswats the way he was. if you're going to touch poop that fetid, do it with a very, very long stick, and don't track it where you eat. i have no problem with anyone engaging in some journalism shit but involving kiwifarms and ona so gratuitously was just really, really dumb and if that guy actually made an account there, then that's opening a can of worms that didn't need to be.

Patso's decision making process is governed completely by the Imp of the Perverse. it is a good point. if this is what pat wanted then doing it more isnt really a punishment. the only thing i could think of is that pat now has no control of it. if he was behind it, then he could presumably pick the time and perhaps even the response, i.e. just a wellness check, a fire dispatch, or full on swat team. now he is at the mercy of torswat, so that cant be fun.

Wouldn't it be easy for them to just blame Dan since he's a known figure? It's not the forums fault he's stupid. That's on him. Everything he's done is on him. the problem is, who is the audience? if it is only the people on forum you are trying to convince, then yes, saying it is only on him works. but if it is a wider audience, then as we have seen with the media coverage of our agrarian based forum here, they dont care. if only a single member does something, like post a threat against keffals, then that is proof the entire forum is guilty and behind it. though funny how the big tech sites like discord, twitter, facebook, youtube, etc get a pass on this.

I don't think that would work for them since not many people know about their site unless you're into niche online entertainment or authors. Unlike this site where we have people of all types hating on us various reasons so it makes sense if there's one person that fucks up, then it makes us all look bad. At least for awhile until they forget as they pick a new target to attack, until they need another scapegoat or boogyman to fight.
I'd be happy with a tag to make it easier for people to find them.

Not saying that, Dan made his bed. If he wants to fuck up then throw him under the bus. I'm sure the admin has enough stuff on him to give to authorities. Null would do the same if any of us fucked up as bad as Dan has if the authorities asked. I don't recall this site closing down when worse shit happened because of a user, like Fuck You going off and killing two kids and cucked by a couch.
