General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I believe that if Sakana did something as bold as dumping a talent because they aren't useful enough, everyone else from the same company would be very wary and not particularly supportive towards him, both in public and private, because the same could happen to them in the future. Also, keep Michiru in mind. No offense meant to her, but she doesn't provide much income for the company, and yet she hasn't been axed so far, so why start with someone as popular as Yuri? I'm pretty sure that if he saw Yuri as a useless asset, he'd just refuse to finance her like Michiru who AFAIK wasn't provided with a PC, new model or anything. PC just leaves her be.

I know you're mad and want to find a target to sperg about, but keep in mind that it's pointless and a waste of time if you don't provide any actual information confirming your epic theory other than your own paranoid ideation.
Back from lurking for this PC happening.

I was sperging too, but now I'm kind of leaning towards the reason being somewhat in-between Sakana firing her for not being useful enough and Yuri fucking up bad. Sakana keeps bringing up the point that bugging the others isn't fair to Yuri, and Yuri's claim was that Sakana said he couldn't work with her anymore.

Combining that with her streaming schedule, it might just be that she wasn't streaming enough to meet whatever minimum requirement was in the contract. It would make sense that they tried to sort this out several times, only for Yuri to be unable to commit. It'd then make sense that they decided not to renew her contract and cited repeated contract violations. They won't outright say that because sad girl issues (probably why she couldn't commit to a streaming consistently) and that's also why they're saying that it'd be unfair to Yuri to bug the others.

This would explain the others being disappointed but not outright revolting. They don't like it, but they can't argue against such a basic issue that they too might've tried and failed to resolve.
On the other hand, Nasa doesn't seem to stream too often either, which kind of torpedoes my theory.

Highly doubt this. This has been brought up numerous times in regards to Ayame, but the investment is spent, the upkeep costs nothing. If she made very little due to not streaming much or having a small base, they still gain nothing by firing her. They lose what income she was making them, even if it's less than they want.

And even then, they take a big reputation and moral hit for dropping her. If she was losing them even just a small amount with no other issues, it would be worth keeping her around.

Ayame is on her own clause, she can do whatever the hell she wants and the only thing she has to do is stream like once in a month, attend the concerts, do her contractual sponsorships obligations (aka if someone requested her she has to go) and simply be "there", i have noticed in some of few streams specially in superchat readings her own fanbase love to remind her that she is the one that stream the less in all the company

I still put my rrat that she just stay on Holo because it doesnt bother her in the slightest and she is still salty that next generations stole her thunder (before the big boom she was THE cashcow of hololive now she is just the butt of graduation jokes)

This is even funnier when you consider that Gamma has scrap for painting the art in front of Lap's "voice pack store"... which Astel wants to buy. So the brat wins.
The entire thing spiraled out of control with others Vtubers making their own packs and she getting mad of people stealing her idea, i think someone mentioned that Gura mom got invited to the server and she actually made one

Guy's I'm confused. Why does Pippa keep pronouncing coyote wrong? Is it just a meme Or is she being stubborn about it?

At least their interactions are organic, which is a nice break from having to script collaborations.
What? Collabs are scripted? Since when has that been the case?

Source? Because there are two common ways to pronounce it and each sounds absurd if you're used to the other... Or is it some weirdo pronunciation?

She pronounces it as 'ki-oat'. When chat pointed it out she went and looked it up and kept getting mad that everything pronounced it as 'ki-oat-ee'. I think it was in the 'Disturbing Dashcams' stream, though it might've been another one -- it was definitely recent, though.

For those curious, Sayu (the former Zaion) is actually playing Honkai Star Rail. Except in Discord, for her members only.

Sorry, I don't know what's going on in there. Doesn't seem like she can still stream normally right now otherwise she would have been doing so.
