Baseball is a sport where I could conceivably see women being ok competing against men. And since it's boring and I don't watch it anyway, I wouldn't care.

I WOULD love to see female hockey players try making the jump to the NHL, from their leagues where hitting is illegal and the biggest, heaviest freak women they have would be considered small compared to the average NHLer. "Welcome to the NHL, Amanda Kessel, here's a flying elbow to the head from Radko Gudas. Enjoy empowerment."

He needs a fucking shock collar for every time he makes that fucking shit-eating moronic face.
#2. There are plenty of reasons to believe that women simply cannot compete with men athletically in most cases... This is neither Softball nor Baseball, granted, but still proves a point.

Not trying to shit all over these women, I mean respect for even agreeing to the matches. It is what it is though.
There has been a similar event with Soccer. An australian women's pro soccer team was playing against a male under-15 team and lost 7:0.
One might assume that women lack the physique and aggressiveness to be competetive in a team sport involving stuff like tackling as it happens in soccer, however when you check out the world records in athletics, you quickly realize Women ultimately fall short of the results of men there, too.
The women's record for 100m is 10,49s for instance. For comparison, men's 100m sprint record of 1912 and 1920 was 10,6. By 1921, it was down to 10.4s. The world's fastest current women in 100m sprint would be roughly on 68th rank when compared to the male record holders (though it's a bit misleading to only compare the world records. When Usain Bolt had his 9,58s World record run, the last in that group was at 10,37 seconds, so the female sprinter would actually have a decent chance to reach at least the semi finals).
I guess the female body just isn't adapting that well to training and building up muscles (after all, that is a matter of male hormones).

Now, what I'd love to see would be a comparison with e-Sports like CS:Go, anyone got infos on how all-female teams fare against men? Johnny Boy is happy to brag about how he annihilates random dudebros in Tekken, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had a hard time beating Chris outside of his "this totally happened" wonderworld.

On the other hand, women hold all the records related to living a really long time. Men are privileged to die much sooner and in worse health after a shorter life.

It doesn't only help men pack on muscle, testosterone also drives competitiveness. How hard you practice, how obsessively you train, even in a non-physical sport that's likely to make all the difference.

For that very reason, though, wanting to compete in male activities shows a very masculine cast of mind, John.

Edit to add: I need this emoticon, please

I'm not much in tune with e Sports but as far as I know, there was one all girl team that fell apart due to drama. That said, is not unlikely that one could get big.

I don't rlly know much about the CS:GO scene, but I do know there used to be an all girls League of Legends team called Sirens and... Well... All evidence points to them being not only terrible, but VERY poor sports (even by League's standards). IIRC, all their members were ranked Gold, which is mediocre in an environment where even the most trash players are typically ranked high Diamond. /LoL sperging
Basically, company makes all girl team for teh moneyz, they suck beyond belief, act shitty, and have to leave before the season's over and everyone says "Good riddance!"

The flame that burns twice as light burns half as long...
And one day all of Brianna's stupidity will be lost like tears in the rain. Oh no wait, we've got a wiki. His/Her stupidity will be around for generations.

Poor Brianna. S/he gets to enjoy all the ""oppression"" of being a wealthy white woman in the United States but also the shorter life expectancy of a man, which he is.

Wu is a fucking moron on this point (Even more so than usual). I'm all for all-women sports teams playing in their own league. In Britain, our own Women's league is actually growing in popularity and our national team routinely gets to finals and semi finals of major tournaments. As our male football team is fucking useless and retarded, we support the girls instead.

HOWEVER, forcing male teams to have female teams on their squads is completely absurd, it is for any sport. If we forced all female teams to have male players, it would also be stupid because men are generally better at sports than women, fitter, stronger and faster.

Also, I guarantee that Wu doesn't actually watch sport, or cares at all aside from what she can do to get asspats and cash.

good to see the 'hundreds of death threats' she has received doesn't stop her from shaming people trying to avoid the same, what a piece of shit

does anyone else remember the days when you were told that putting personal information on public websites was a bad idea? now we have the 'godzillla of tech' going out of her way to shit on people who are not just being sensible, but are actually trying to avoid exactly the same thing she's been crying over for the last 2 years

Women like Lauren Silberman don't help. She tried out for the NFL, made no effort to prepare, then later admitted it was just a publicity stunt b/c she was a "young entrepreneur" who knew it would be widely publicized. Our media is that predictable when it comes to gender wars.
