Okay, so, I'm just rejoining after about 4 hours. It sounds like TTS was on for long enough to make everyone wonder if Simmons is a pedo? I'm hoping to see some cuts of that later.

He tried to stand up and ended up bitching out against jon, he lost his shit and started breaking rules, he got kicked out and ended up acting a fool for a couple days, talking mad shit, and was allowed back in. That doesn't set right with folks. That's what bugs me at least.

I heard a theory early on that I fully believe.
He's not really a plant, in the sense that he's not there to achieve any particular goal for the show.
He's just a friend of the producers, and he's a total druggie. So they put him on the show as a form of impromptu rehab. A place he can maybe get clean for a couple weeks, stay off the street. Maybe launch some kind of career from the infamy at the end.

That would explain why he never actually did anything in particular despite his connections with the hosts. He's not there for narrative purposes

The only time Damiel has been mildly interesting is when he starts riling up Jon and then gets pussywhipped.

Vance said he's the guy that does the "special delivery" and told Jon he smokes weed "all day every day." The website describes him as a delivery driver, is he hinting at selling weed on the side or am I overthinking this? I can't tell how much of what he's saying is a facetious lie he's telling Jon and how much of it is true. I wouldn't put it past him to be a pothead.

I think Damiel's been cast as the "bad guy" to stir up the fish in the original "catfish" definition that was given by the husband of the crazy lady in the Catfish documentary.

He's borderline hostile to everyone, and the perception that he got unfair treatment is by definition going to create drama and plotting by the other fish.

At this point his mere presence generates friction, he literally could just sleep most of the time and fulfill his purpose.

best case scenario: Simmons isn’t eliminated per se. Instead, he gets relentlessly Hassled to the point that he leaves the show tomorrow voluntarily. That way the pedo chinaman does not pass go and does not collect $200.

I’m still hung up on the one page a day thing from Jon as well. That’s fucking bonkers. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be that slow.

I'd tend to believe this a lot more if they didn't remove him briefly and one of Sam's minions didn't take him to a casino.
They should've just picked up a random local homeless junkie, would've been more entertaining and would fuck with other contestants more.

Damiel is literally that friend you feel bad for and give him a place to crash if he promises to get his shit together. Only to take all your food and waste his youth sleeping. Anyone who says his antics are funny or thinks he makes the show better are experiencing levels of cope only the mentally ill can achieve.

Damiel is there to sleep off his drugs he takes every day. Damiel is an LA hypebeast that complained about landlords charging him rent while he owns 800 dollar shirts that say "sex" and a 1k Supreme bag that can't fit anything but his pills.

I'm hearing this logic thrown around a lot, but the question is why remove him just to return him to the house? That part seems so unnecessary.
