Rozy has flown out of Mexico and into the US previously during their trip to Italy, I do not know what the arrangements are exactly for young children in the USA - but ultimately, contacting the local consulate, explaining your situation and who you are, they would assist in getting Rozy back into the US if she lacked the proper documentation. These things aren't that complicated - well, not for the people getting the service, for the poor embassy staff that is a different matter entirely.

Rozy needs a passport to enter the US but also they would have had to get one for her to enter Mexico as well. It’s a pretty easy thing to obtain.

Based on a calculator for child support in New York, if Ralph is earning 200k a year he will owe May to the tune of $30k a year. Over $2k a month, and more than double what faith owes.

Ralph is going to be out about $3k a month just paying child support. Nevermind the cost of visitation.

Different state, different rate. The California system has a rate whereby a child costs around $1000 a month to care for - but they then balance the cost based on the relative level of earnings. So in effect, you're paying at most $1000 a month, but likely less. Faith really should be getting about $1000, but obviously an agreement in court can be whatever they want.

New York seems to be based on the number of children, and pre-tax earnings. It's a flat rate.

But yeah, will he pay? It's hard to say, he doesn't have a spire quest for Rozy yet so we shall see.

I did a back of the envelope earlier this week (I think) on what Faith should be getting in CA assuming only $144k gross for him (and $36k for Faith). And that very rough (and missing all kinds of relevant info, admittedly) estimate came up around $1700/mo for xander. Around here people say he's doing around $800/mo...which potentially means either he's lying to the Court (contempt) or to everyone else, she's making a lot more than I guesstimated, or they negotiated way wide of the base amount for some reason and the support part of the case isn't under management by the state.

But as to Meg, in at least some states, second + babies get less where the support-paying spouse already has other support obligations.

But 200k gross likely yields not less than $150k* net, which is about $12.5k/month. Having to pay out $3k on $12.5k is peanuts.

*likely more. 200k if a single filer and NO deductions is 32.6% marginal rate, so about $40k fed. With social sec, FICA, etc, and IF he lived in a high tax state like NY, add another $25k. So that would be around $135k. HOWEVER, 1) he doesn't live in a high-tax state and 2) he will have deductions for those kids, at a minimum. Moreover, my $150k net is way off if he stays in Mexico, as more than half of that $200k is free of US tax, and there is a US -MEX tax treaty - with tax treaties it's typical you can offset us taxes with taxes paid to Mexico (but it's complicated).

In that instance, Ralph would pay $500 a month. If Ralph earned 100k and Faith 50k, the ratio would be 66:33, so Ralph would pay $660.

I didn't look hard enough to see any flat estimate for deemed childcare costs - that would be atypical to have literally flat amount (and $1000 in CA about anywhere is ridiculous), as child support typically varies by income (again, often subject to a cap) and in some cases even by local COL.
