I genuinely enjoyed this show but today has been a massive blunder

The cracks were there even from the beginning. I completely understand the idea of not scaring contestants away with too much too soon (boiling the frog slowly) but Jet has had the kid gloves on and been way too lenient with the fish from the jump.

I've been obsessed with fishtank from day 1 and I still found the jokerposting pretty funny. The show is admittedly boring at times, it's a "24/7" livestream there's going to be some dull moments, especially if you haven't been actively watching and don't know the lore.

One of the funny takeaways of this whole thing is it does prove Sam is unhinged. He’s willing to hurt people for the sake of comedy. There’s always been the question
of where the character ends and the person begins. That line seems thinner than ever.

Louis CK has said that people watch the show “Louie” and assume it’s a show about his life, but it’s really a show loosely based on his life where he exaggerates parts of his personality and plays up particular events to make it more entertaining. I feel like Sam is the same way. People who say “lol it’s all just irony bro haha it’s all a character lol” are retarded, this is the person he is but exaggerated for comedic effect.

I’m assuming people have been making tts donations about Letty’s hairy asshole and Sylvia being a slampig but those get filtered out. It’s a delicate balance. You want an interactive show where people can tap the glass and shake up the tank, but you also don’t want to make the place so miserable that everyone leaves in week two. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. I’ve been critical of Sam and Jet but I think they’re doing a good job maintaining the balance.

Yeah, but they still get bullied. Sam's tweet seems like a blanket ban on TTS aimed at Jon. If Sam tweeted "No more bullying Jon's speech impediment" that's one thing, but where's the line?
