For anyone wondering, this is from the show 'The Good Doctor'. The doctor there is portrayed as severely autistic, yet high functioning, so that's why he's asking this male who plays with mermaids and thinks he's a girl why he's pretending to be one. The 'he has testicular cancer' was a nice bit. Long hair, guzzling estrogen, and the wannabe Jewish mom cannot reverse reality. Guess it's time for the chop and give the girl here a nice new vagina!

This thought has crossed my mind as well. It seems like trooning out has become an escape hatch for boys who were nerdy or socially awkward growing up to get away from that "version" of themselves. We all know about the trannies who are degenerate sexual fetishists, but I think in many cases it stems from plain old self-loathing and low self esteem, not actual gender dysphoria (to the extent that's even a real thing).

At least, that to me would explain the apparent connection between autism and transgenderism.
