I know a lot of these FtM trannies are girls who grew up in the depths of Tumblr rubbing it out to Yaoi, but I always thought women like them would have enough sense to understand that men get their share of bullshit from the world. I'm baffled by how they managed to be so fucking sheltered they don't even know shit that's so obvious. EVERYONE knows men are given shit for their height, men AND women, you have to have grown up with zero fucking experience of the world to not know that.
All this "I thought being a man was going to be grrrrrrreat!!" BS is just more evidence towards my theory that troonism is about some kind of gender-based fantasy, not the reality of being male or female. And the sheer fucking audacity of saying "We'll I'm just going to transition back now!", like it's swapping out a wardrobe or something... makes me want to slap the shit out of these people. (Yes I'm MATI I know...)
Of all the drama I read about on this site this is the creme de la creme to me.

While I don't doubt that life as the opposite sex presents difficulties that most troons don't appreciate, I have trouble taking these particular stories seriously. They're not experiencing life as men, they are experiencing life as squeaky-voiced, extremely short* "men" with mental illnesses and a chip on their shoulder about everything.
The girl who posted to r/MensRights also strikes me as the female version of the AGP who posts on female-heavy subreddits about how he omg, is getting sexually harassed all the time now he is a woman! It's an attempt to ingratiate oneself into an opposite-sex space, nothing more.
(*as in, even the men posting on r/shortcel were probably around 5'5 or 5'6 or so, whereas the height of an average FtM seems to be around 4'11 for some reason)
As radfems themselves often point out, TERFs are not even really "trans exclusionary," since they welcome female trans people into women-only spaces. They only "exclude' males.

I love how she thinks men never ever get sexualized, or followed home (obviously men are less likely to be targeted by strangers for sex crimes, but it's not like they don't get followed and then robbed/beaten/murdered).

I usually hate the phrase, but that 4chan really needs to man up and save the confused tomboy.

I dunno, when I was still dating guys I really liked the short ones. I grew up looking my father, brothers and cousins square in the nipple. I still prefer socialising with shorter men, it's just nice to be able to have a standing up conversation without getting a crick in my neck.

Yeah, I'm a smaller guy kinda person, not really into those over 6 ft, they're normally same height as me. Still give them shit for being short but I give tall people shit for being tall. I mean, if you're a human you're going to get shit for some aspect of who you are. I don't know a single person who doesn't get shit for some aspect of who or what they are.

Yeah, I'm also into shorter guys. I'm quite short myself, so dating a tall guy is just a huge hassle. Yeah, having a huge guy to be your big spoon and pick you up easily is nice and all, but the novely wears off. The actual mechanics of a relationship work better when he's only a little taller than you. My husband is 165 cm tall, which is manlet by most standards, but for me he could actually be a bit shorter still and it would be perfect.
I don't think height is the primary issue pooners face (though I won't deny it could be a major one), nor is necessarily their feminine facial features or slighter builds, because I know plenty of both men and women that are into the boyish androgenous look (myself included), but the underlying trauma/mental issues that led them to HRT in the first place. I can't think of any "sane" pooner, but I do know of a few "sane" troons. It could just be how much louder troons are in general, but still.
"Sane" being redefined as "knows when and with whom to shut up about it, and doesn't go home crying because he was treated like a man with long hair at work". Obviously no tranny is actually sane by the normal definition, it's a mental illness. But a few troons seem capable of accepting the reality that they're not actually women and never will be, in a way you don't really see with pooners. Detrans ones, I suppose, but do they still count as pooners when they go back to being tomboys? Arguably not.

why do so many FTMs have so much internalised misogyny. I don't understand it. I've never hated being a woman, even when I was a kid and played pretend of being a boy. I hated wearing dresses and I hated pink, sure, but I never had any conflict with my XX chromosomes.
In fact, all TIPs seem to think of women as something bad in general. Dumb bimbo drones who are housewives and fleshlights, or something you do everything in your power to reject.
Many other farmers have noted that FTMs are often victims of sexual abuse and the rejection of womanhood as a result of abuse has something akin to logic to it. We also agree that a lot of TIPs are autistic, but autism doesn't explain the regressive idea of what a woman is.
