I find it hard to not disagree on virtually every level. You're to an extent falling for the bit the media is pushing- it may be petty if he was censured without recourse but zac was given the simplest out in the world to his tiniest of slaps on the wrist, simply apologize for dragging people's religions and beliefs into your ridiculous persecution fantasy. He broke the rules and simply needed a half-hearted apology to continue blitherung about the 4 bills related to his fetish while sleeping through the rest of the session. You can say that the republicans are being rule sticklers, but the rules are there to maintain a healthy professionalism and keep the session from devolving into pointed attacks (like zac makes) and you can bet if someone started making pointed attacks at zac's they'd be madd to apologize too.
but instead of taking the simple path to good graces he was generously gifted, zac stood in (extremely male) righteous indignation, proceeded to have his boyfriend contact every imaginable media outlet to twidt the story, printed off a ridiculous petition in large print font to showboat this perceived sleight against him (I'm goung to assume this was an online petition, as I doubt half of Zac's 6000 constituents, barely 1000 of which voted for him, and roughly 990 of which didn't even realize they were voting for a tranny, probably hoping for a nice older democrat woman to help subsidize their small farms), and then proceeded to lead a riot of weirdos to harass his coworkers because *he* insulted *them*.
all of this because he refused to apologize, takes righteous indignation at being treated like everyone else, and because these disingenuous fucks have managed to crybully their way out of every attempt to tell them "no". they can read into it as uncharitably as they want, for once they can't crybully and harass their way out of the most minor of wrist slaps and have escalated it into a giant shitshow for themselves.
